this camcorder is fantastic. optics are super good, battery lasted for quite a while of video recording, the floating lenses are the best in my opinion, with electronic and fluid gyro for the lenses. my hands shake more than I'd like , but the camcorder's video showed none at all. it was more than I wanted to spend on a camcorder at the time, but am very glad I bought it !! highly recommend !!!

Purchased this Sony Handycam for a trip to Disneyworld with the grandkids. Very easy to use and quality of picture is great. Very lightweight and easy to carry. Would recommend for any family.

Operation is easy if you have ever used a camcorder previously. The only trick to realize you cannot charge and download at the same time (it uses a built in USB cable -very cool-for downloading and charging). Make sure you close the screen to charge. The projector feature is very cool and easy to operate. The only reason I did not give it a 5 out of 5 is the software that comes with is VERY basic compared to JVC ones I have owned over the years.

The camera itself is amazing but the topping is the projector. I never thought it would be that necessary, but using it at work allowed me to spot an issue in a tight space. I stuck the camera in there, recorded the area, then used the projector to spot the problem. Also, the picture quality is so good that I projected an image of my dog on the wall, which drove her crazy!

This camera is great! This model and several others have a built in projector which comes in handy for slide shows when the family comes together. This camcorder is my primary youtube camcorder and its great. It can record in MP4 so its easy to upload, and you get excellent HD quality videos. This model has a built in 32Gb hard-drive which allows you to record hours of HD video and take thousands of pictures. The internal hard-drive is great so you don't have to worry about buying microSD card, but you can put a SD card in to expand you memory capacity. One last thing to note, the zoom is incredible; you can focus on a object so far off you can barely see. This zoom function allows you record things such as sporting events, trips to the beach, concerts,and much more!

great camera for the price. i've used it at the 4th of July firework show, and it did a decent job in low light, but i'm planning on getting an external lamp for sure, i also like the projector that comes in the camera, all my family and friends love that feature. :)

We bought this camera to record soccer games. We know nothing about videoing anything! This camera is so easy to use, basically does everything for you, all you have to do it turn the camera to follow the action and zoom in or out. We love the projector aspect, makes it easy to see if the recording came out good or not.

I got this for my son's graduation and it works great outdoors and indoors with low lighting. I love having the option of watching the videos back with the projector!

This camera exceeded my expectations. The ease of use and the ability to manipulate so many settings and features is really nice. It takes stunning video for such a small package. I would put this at the upper end of consumer camcorder products. Any amateur would be happy with this product.

I love the flexibility of the lite wgt, the great zoom. I don't like the view screen when it is sunny out it is hard to see it. The quality of the picture via HDMI TV is Fabulous

Love this camera. I use it to video lots of football, basketball, and other action sports. Has a great zoom. Also, love the projector and use it to train students for future games.

I looked and looked and researched u til my mind was going to explode. I went into the best buy. This camera is the best camera you can get next to the 4k technology. If you need something more, you must be a cinematographer, because I have not found a limit yet, and it blows me away the quality every time I playback on projector mode, great audio, stabilizer, all light conditions. I zoomed in on the craters of the moon for goodness sake. This camera is AWESOME!!!!! Oh, and a shout out to Ariel from the Rockaway store. he is truly awesome.

Camera is easy to use and the Battery that comes with it last along time. I have been able to film for 2 hours and not run out of power.

Very nice features, good battery life, the projector is awesome. Lots of adjustments for those that want to customize but also lots of automatic features for beginners

This camera is very versatile and easy to use and takes great pictures and video. very good in low light. We use this camera for filming our children's Hockey games as well as take pictures while filming

I bought this camera to record my son dancing on stage. I love how clear the videos are and it is very lightweight

Just bough this to take on a 8 day vacation in Vietnam. It was light, easy to use and clear. Especially loved the image stabilization feature as there were times i was on Vespa or boat and able to record with no up and down motion. The projector has some opportunity but didn't buy it for that.

I was looking for a camera to record my brothers basketball games. This camera was at a repackaged price and recommended by an employee. I'm very glad I pulled the trigger on this purchase. Battery life is perfect, quality is great and the projector feature is extremely handy.

I record school events and it a good job about not being blurry and the projector is cool too
