Great for time-lapse video

With a 64GB extreme mini-SD, can record up to 40,000 images, or over 11 hours worth at 1 frame per second. Took a few days of practice to learn many available features from the on-line downloadable user guide (max # images, auto-shut off, invert images, time-lapse rate, USB charging, etc.) and included Action Cam Movie Maker app to create time-lapse video from recorded images, and combine videos, as Action Cam stores max 3,000 images per folder on mini-SD. Even with a 6-year old Intel i5 Windows 7 laptop, download and movie creation times were not an issue (10-15 minutes per folder). Learned NOT to merge folders to try processing 22,000 images in HD at once, as the movie maker app couldn't handle that! So created time-lapse movies one 3,000 image folder at a time, then easily combined those into a single time-lapse video using the movie maker app. This camera fully meets my expectations, and am sure does much more than I can imagine.

It also is sold in two ways, with or without an wristband that you can remotely control the video camera (on/off, zoom, change settings). The wrist band has a screen for color remote viewing and settings changes. Unique! P.s. there's no sound with waterproof case on, but its a simple DIY fix. Watch videos in YOUTUBE for reviews and DIY fox for waterproof case sound fix. Going to take this to Philippines!

However, I am disappointed with the sound and video quality when not underwater. The quality seems to be better when shooting outside rather than indoors. There is almost no sound when the camera is in the water proof case, which is understandable. I suppose this will be a good camera for extreme sports, but not for shooting normal videos. My class enjoyed using it to make movies, even though they had the quality of an IPhone video. In conclusion, I like the underwater feature, but regret buying this camera and should have sprung for a more expensive camcorder.
