Awesome sound system. I needed something louder than my bose sounddock of 10+ years. This system is loud enough to not bother the neighbors. Plus for me is Bluetooth, cd player, fm radio and of course lightweight to move around. Bass is not that loud if that’s what you are looking for but good enough for that small pounce.

I needed something to plug my new Baritone Ukulele into. It works as a guitar/ukulele amp. I can even get good volume when plugging in my bodhran. Yeah, I am a cool folk musician. OK, folk something. It is nice being able to have a Cd playing while practicing new tunes. The sound quality is not bad. By no means hifi. This is not a compact $1000 plus stereo system. It is a semi portable party speaker. Loud and bass is what you will get. Having Bluetooth, FM and Cd all in one package? Not bad. It is as portable as the length of your extension cord. So, please don't as if it runs on a battery or how long is the battery life. Because there isn't one! If it rains out or someone splashes this? It will not be happy. Meaning, it is NOT water proof or even resistant. Play around with the different sound formats, find what your ear likes. The app gives you more equalizer options as well.

This little speaker packs a big bass punch. Sound quality is excellent and the lighting effects add to the look of the speaker. I’m old school so I love the fact that it has a CD player for all the CDs that I own. Overall an excellent speaker.

Great sound easy too use controls . Cd player werks great and fm radio too. Blutooth connect is easy . Great bass sound.

Has a nice base sound and clarity. The only downside is you have to leave it plugged in. It doesn't charge at all so you can move it freely. I called sony to ask and they confirmed yes to work it must be plugged in. There is no range or battery life to give it a rating because that is not an option

Pros: * Fun functions for a party. * Gets loud. * Supports Bluetooth, CD, FM and Microphone. * Remote control and Smartphone App. Cons: * Audio is hollow. * Unit is large but light. * Lots of small buttons on unit and remote. * Buttons are not easy to see and use in dim lighting. * Speakers all fire front so doesn’t fill an area with sound very well. Review: While there are several fun functions that make this speaker appropriate for a party, overall it’s mediocre at best for everything it does. First and foremost is audio quality. With speakers like this, I would have expected better sound. It can get loud but it sounds hollow with boomy bass and tinny treble. If your intent is to use this for a party, the speakers only fire forward so you might need a few of them chained together (which is a nice feature) to fill the whole space. All of the buttons are on top so you can bend over a bit and choose your function, but they are mostly flat buttons with black-on-black icons and gray-on-black small lettering. You’d be hard-pressed to find what you’re looking for in anything but a bright room. The rotary volume control is convenient but most of the other buttons on top are not. The remote control isn’t much better, but at least the lettering is easier to read with white letters on black mostly-square buttons. Bluetooth audio sounded OK but not great and CD audio was only a bit better. I don’t have any karaoke CDs to try, but the user’s manual says it has some fun features for that. Plus, there’s a pop-out microphone holder on the side and what appears to be a slot on the top to hold maybe a tablet with lyrics. There’s a display on the front to show volume level, track numbers for the CD player, etc, but it’s an old-school LED display that isn’t really fancy. It mostly gets the job done, but we’re all used to color LCD screens and this kinda disappoints. If you have a few similar Sony audio system units, you can chain them together to send the audio in different directions around the room. I only had the one so I couldn’t try it out, though. There are several smartphone apps to control it and share music to it, but they seemed clumsy to use as well. For the price, it’s passable, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for anything other than back-yard gatherings or large-room party use. If that’s your goal, this might not be a bad option for the price.

The speaker is amazing, It is lightweight and the sound is impeccable, I love singing Karaoke with my family so this speaker is perfect for that. Definitely would recommend

This system is neat and compact. It doesn't take a lot of space. It has a powerful sound and it was set up very easily. You simply add the antenna for clearer FM radio. I paired my phone so I could listen to my music and my radio apps.

Sounds good i like the option that it has that it says extra bass sounds so much better and louder, one of my favorite speaker

I love it, it’s really has a great sounds and easy to hook up with our our karaoke microphones and we’ve had great time singing karaoke with my family at the Thanksgiving day with my family.

I was looking for an audio system/wireless speaker which had a CD player, has bluetooth as well as a radio tuner. Sony seems to be the Only manufacturer it seems that fit that bill with the V13 Audio System/Wireless Speaker! I love how deep the bass gets as well as the clarity of the highs. There are 2 apps that can be downloaded which will enhance this system (Sony Music Center and Fiestable). In conclusion, if you're looking for a very versatile audio speaker system, you've found it with the Sony V13! Highly, highly recommend it and I am very happy with it!!

It is fair to use as a CD player and play music via bluetooth, it needs mixer to use microphone. I am searching for the 2nd one to use as stereo speaker.
