I’ve owned other Sony projectors that were cheaper in price and produced a better quality picture than this one. The one I brought home was an open box item so perhaps that had something to do with it, I’m not sure, but I was not impressed. That being said, the image is not bad either. The colors are nice, the image is clear, and if you have a screen designed for projection, it could probably bring out some better quality.

Dont waste your time with 3lcd projectors. If your going to get a projector for your theatre room, spend a lottle extra and get this. If u need to save some cash, get the benq 2050 or 3050. Dont bother with anything else. I've done my researched and did a lot of returning to come to this conclusion. DLP is the way.

Have not installed yet - but did like that Magnolia set this up for me in the video room to see how it looked. Projector was selected for my room type and light -- key point -- not all projectors will be right for your room -- ask the expert.

We had a house fire in May of 2016 and had a Sony projector in the movie room. We loved it so much that we had to buy another one "no brainer". This one is just as great. Great picture resolution never any problems.

This is an outstanding projector. The resolution is really clear. The only downside is that it does not have direct sound in the projector itself.

Little worried about going from a 4k tv to a 1080p projector but well worth it.

This is a nice start for your theater room. The room needs to be dark for you to enjoy.

Would have been a phenomenal product if I could have ever had it installed. Make sure you check the throw rate before purchasing.

I upgraded to this model after having the previous version I bought in 2014. Same great picture that blows away Epson and at a $2k price tag is a great value for a high quality HD projector.

Have only previewed the device in store so for but really liked the product, its great for a home theatre which is what I'm in the process of making

Top tier performance for budget minded home theater buyers. It really is a high level performer.. It's a must buy for those upgrading into the projector market..

The quality of this machine is top notch, no disappointing info to give. very nice plays well and clear.

This projector has a great picture and has seen a ton of use. Only complaint is that the lamp did not last anywhere close to the 6000 hour life on the low light setting. 4k's are coming down in price though. May be time for an upgrade!

I had an issue with the blue ray player, I was sold one that was not set for 3D and had to get a different one, I was a little disappointed.

Clear picture easy to setup and use, I’d recommmend it to anyone looking for a large clear picture. I currently use a 120” screen.
