Plenty of setting options but not too many to make them usless. I do have a buzzing problem when i try to use my TV has the center channel speaker, but i think thats the TV. Recommend if you dont want to pay a ton for the next level up but still want a great soundbar.

Consistently stops working

We sent it into sony and they couldn’t even fix it. Would not recommend.

The sound is nothing but amazing. I checked out several other brands and this wins. It was easy to connect to the TV and features custom tunes to your room. Don’t hesitate- add the 200 watt sub and you’ll want to watch all of your movies over again just to hear what you were missing.

I have it connected to my new Sony 85" TV with Directv. I'm not very tech savvy, but this sound bar couldn't be any easier to use. The TV matches up to it so that one remote will do everything. And best of all, the price was 50% off the MSRP!

It is nice and has some good features, but does not compare with a comparable Sonos soundbar I have in my family room.

This is a wonderful soundbar and I am one of those that tried every single one they had hooked up and compare for a long time. This one had the absolute best sound for that size. The bass is very good, which I had read to double check on that before deciding on any soundbar.

However, even with the base unit (no subwoofer or satellite speakers) it can create some amazing surround sound. I do wish that Sony would include the subwoofer without an additional fee. The only issue that I’m having with my unit is that it will on occasion turn itself back on again.

I'm mostly deaf and normally can't hear dialogue on TV or movies, but the voice is so clear, I only miss just a little. I highly recommend this sounder to anyone who is fed up with awful TV sound. It has a bit of a learning curve for me (retired), but I'm learning. Its great.

My first soundbar, so I'm no expert -- but crisp, full sound. I use it as much to Bluetooth music as I do with the tv. Only complaint: a little pricy.

It pounds pretty good on its own but I'd still recommend getting a seperate subwooofer. Awesome quality, I think it's safe to say Sony is again a top player in sound

Hard to beat traditional floor or bookshelf speakers and amp/receiver. The sound bars up firing end speakers are a significant improvement that does help fill-in sound gaps and subwoofer and rear speakers do give added special support.

The sounds are really good for a reasonably priced soundbar. If you want to get the most, definitely buy the SA-SW3 Subwoofer.

Make sure you have a Sony X95j HD TV and not a Sony X90j HD TV if you plan on sitting it between the TV stand because it doesn't fit between the Sony X90J HD TV so keep that in mind before you purchase the item. Other than that it's a great soundbar to have for entertainment purposes.
