Sound that's at the next level for soundbars

From the Sony HTS5000, Sonos Arc, Two LG Meridians and a high end Samsung and this Sony the HT-A7000 blows them all away for movie and TV content. If you combine it with a sub and the rear speakers it honestly beats or matches a mid grade separate system that would cost three to four times as much and would have no where near the streamline and seamless integration this has. Unless you're looking to spend $8,000 to $10,000 plus on audio and don't care about simplicity this soundbar with the SASW5 subwoofer and the SARS5 wireless rears is the system to get.

Perfect compliment to a Sony TV

It's heavy, so if you have a wall mounted screen, you're going to want to make sure you have a strong bracket (if you're hanging it off the wall mount bracket, it has comes with L-brackets to bolt directly to the wall). The sound is fantastic and really gives you a 3D/surround sense especially if you have the Acoustic Center Sync set up (Tip: it plugs NOT into the green S-center plug like you'd think but instead into the yellow Video plug - I know, it makes no sense). Plus, Sony has a FREE One on One service if you have trouble installing it. You just schedule a call and they call you.

Premium Price Sound bar without Premium features

As soon as best buy got it i think i was the first one to order both Sound bar and Sub. Setup: Setup is fairly simple specially when you have Sony TV. Room calibration is easy but there is no App where you can control individual channels. With remote you can only do volume up / down of main bar and sub. Issues: Main issue is this it lacks the base even with when paired with SA-SW5 sub. Specially during watching movies some base heavy sound affects feels muted. Overall : I have 10 year old Klipsch Rb 20 soundbar and that its only 3.1 channel soundbar with no eARC port and it produces 50 times better sound than this sony a7000. It is possible that i might have got the bad unit but from 2K+ sound system there should be no bad units. Returned both sub and sound bar today and now buying Sonos ARC with sub and surround. SONY i really wanted to like this sound bar but cant justify price VS sound quality.

Posted .Hi Adnan, we are sorry to hear that the HTA7000 Soundbar did not meet your expectations when it comes to the bass while watching movies and had to return it. Depending on the input signal and the sound mode setting, surround sound processing may not work effectively. The surround effect may be subtle, depending on the program or disc.

I watched a few videos and reviews of the A7000 before purchasing to make sure it was what I needed to replace my old school receiver. I was looking at the A5000 as my runner up. I listened to the floor model in the store and there was just no competition. I have been an avid audiophile for years and I love my surround sound. I was skeptical that a bar could do what my 7.2 system does for movies. The A7000 does it better and has Dolby Atmos to boot. I'm very happy.

Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. The HT-A7000 comes with a supplied Wall mounting bracket (2), Screw (2), and Wall mount template for wall mounting. You may prepare two screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the holes on the wall mounting bracket (supplied). When mounting the soundbar, we recommend to have the installation done by a Sony dealer or licensed contractor and pay special attention to safety during the installation.

I just wished I had bought the RS5 rear speakers with it. They need to offer customer a discount after they purchase products when you can’t listen to them on their show room floor. Everything I hoped for

I am glad that I did. Setup was easy. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but it was very easy. As for build quality, there is definite heft to the unit. And overall it looks nice. It was packaged very well in the box. It does a very good job filling our room with sound. With this I have less incentive to go to a theater. I have run music though this as well and it sounds great as well. I did get the wireless sub and there were no problems getting it connected.
