||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looked at a lot of reviews, heard a lot of positive things about this sound bar. It may work great with Sony TV but if you don’t have one I would recommend going with the Sonos ARC. It was very quite even when the volume was all the way up, I had to go in the setting and sleet Dolby AI mode. It was the only way to have a somewhat decent experience with it, even then not very impressive. If you want to use this to listen to music, it can be decent but you have to go in the settings and change to sound mode and in-select the Dolby mode off. You have to change the setting a lot to get a some what decent experience. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want something plug in play, it may be better with a Sony TV but if your like me with an LG CX go with the Sonos arc.

Depending on the input signal and the sound mode setting, surround sound processing may not work effectively. The surround effect may be subtle, depending on the program or disc.

Also, for best listening experience we recommend using the Sound Field Optimization feature of the HTA7000 and make sure to have the latest software update on the unit as this will improve the overall performance of the HTA7000. (Version 1.279)

Best Buy wrapped it in 1 sheet of bubble wrap and sent it via ups. 1 sheet of bubble wrap. Item arrived completely broken. Sides were bashed open. Grill was cracked. Missing items. I will never purchase an open box item from Best Buy again. Horrible experience. UPS took photos on the truck and immediately noted damaged. Denied delivery. Best Buy took 30 days to issue the refund. Not sure what’s happened to this company but they aren’t the same. Ended up purchasing from Amazon. The quality of the soundbar when new in box and not broken is phenomenal. 0 complaints

I didn’t like the center channel as much, some dialogue sounded a bit muffled. I tested this and the HT-A9. Decided to commit to the A9, just waiting for the restock

Love the sound bar though works and is very user friendly for those of us who are technologically impaired.
