I upgraded from the 34” Vizio Atoms setup from a year ago and its already so much better. No disconnect issues like the Vizio had. Works amazing with my TV and PS5. Bass is fine for a small apartment. If you need more you can always get one of the standalone sub they have. I do plan on upgrading to the rear speakers.

I would highly recommend getting the 300W subwoofer and the surround sound speaker kit. Makes a world of difference.

I would definitely recommend getting the subwoofer and the back speakers for the total package. But i understand if your not willing to pay over 2,000 dollars for the sound set up so just having the soumd bar by it self is just fine.

Excellent Soundbar

Made my whole TV watching experience a lot better. I only got the small SW3 sub but it is more than enough for my needs. I live in a condo so I can't have too much bass that would disturb my neighbors. More expensive than other offerings but I would always go for the quality of Sony products over others.

If you can get this second hand or heavily discounted them yes go for them.

It has 7 built in speakers and can be paired with an external subwoofer and left and right rear speakers. It has as excellent sound quality and setup was very easy. It's not a perfect surround sound but works superbly when paired with the subwoofer + wireless rear speakers. The whole setup for SoundBar + Subwoofer + Wireless Rear Speakers cost me nearly 2000$ but I feel like it's worth it. Only time will tell though.

It is best to compliment this Soundbar with a Good Bass, As I latter did. As well I had some Rear Speakers to add to the High Peaks. The sound is round vs. more block like. The remote and sound modes are better though the Sony Sound engine, Dolby Mode, and DTS modes offer the same fine tuning to my preferences. SSE for live tv, and sports. Dolby Speaker Virtualizer for music. DTS Neural: X makes all the movies pop like so very good. These mode are all great. The extra HDMI ports, along with analog input for my turntable and DAC make this my absolute ideal solution with my Sony Bravia OLED. It’s just a delightful experience in every way. I’m glad upgraded and have the larger Sub and Rear speakers for this. I’m all in on Sony!

I dont if i would pay 1200 for it, but Definitely 800 or 900. Sounds amazing even without the seperate subwoofer. The sounds are well balanced and the highs, lows, and mids are clearly distinguished, and can go from a quiet talking scene to an action or musical scene flawlessly. It also has a very wide soundstage which is great for small or medium livingrooms and bedrooms. Large rooms would probably be better woth the subwoofer, but thats really the only downside. The bar itself can still fill a large room with rich sound. Music sounds amazing, though i haven't had a chance to use their 360 audio.

Best choice to pair with a Sony Bravia XR TV

Moved from traditional 7.1 and very happy

I did purchase with the subwoofer and wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. the only downside is the weight. It was too heavy for the universal mounting system I purchased.
