Is it better than the TVs own audio?

It produces very little low-end frequencies which makes it sound a bit cheap. It’s functional, easy to pair, and looks nice enough. If you can swing it, probably get a better model. I purchased a subwoofer which definitely helps to supplement. Now looking into rear speakers as well.

The Sony HT-S2000 is I believe an entry level sound bar but does a decent job of increasing the sound quality of the TV. We find it a lot easier to understand dialog.

What we don’t like: we was missed lead by the salesman, bc he said that the whole bar illuminates at night or in dark light. We don’t like being played in order to buy something, this in fact has me thinking that Best Buy is best to research online and don’t set foot in the store; or not buy there again

When it is working, the soundbar does provide great surround sound features.
