Reset your TV if vertical function doesn't work

Everything works like it should, however don't expect mind blowing sound. In a small room it works excellent. I have a 2016 Sony Tv, during install I was frustrated because the vertical function wasn't working. My wife saw in a blog that a factory reset on my TV was recommended for the issues. TV was reset and the bar works like a charm now.

If not because this unit is a bit expensive to me for what it is, I would have given 5 Stars. You most definitely will not be disappointed with the sound. I use it behind a large projection screen for movies. And WOW! Plenty of quality sound for this use. And after a couple of movies, you'll become okay with the cost :))

Great Surround Sound System

More than adequate for a family room home theater experience. Geek squad install gives great service even for complex installs such as mine with a wall bracket. Added rear speakers complete the system giving much-added dimension. Minor speaker tweaks bring out the height of system performance.

The sound fills the room easily and I am looking forward to the day we can add the two back speakers. We, like some others reviewing this soundbar, found turning off the Vertical improves the clarity of voices as well as overall sound. We tried switching through the various modes but haven't found a preference for any of them over standard for our typical use. Perhaps we will figure that out over time as there are a lot of options to tune this to exactly what you prefer.

It was easy to set up and the on-screen interface was a refreshing change from the JBL. The sound quality and power is good for a 3.1 Ch system. I am looking forward to adding the wireless rear speakers to complete the system. Overall for the price I paid ($200 off retail) I am very pleased and recommend this system.

Sound is great. However, the sub and rear speakers have connectivity issues. For the price, if your savvy, you can probably get something with more thump for the same price range if that's more important.
