There are reports of the sub dropping out from time to time, this has happened only a couple of times and but not an issue for 99% of the time. I have it hooked up to a Sony TV and a 4K Apple TV, everything runs through the apple remote.

It was installed and hung by the geek squad. It has good sound in our living room. To me I wish it had a slightly larger range. Also that we had more controls to tune the sound to how we like it. Right now we have to choose what they give us on the remote. All in all much better than what we’ve had before.

Fantastic Dolby Atmos/DTS:X Soundbar!

It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS: X and will pass through HDR10 and Dolby Vision video. The sound of the speakers are clear and crisp. The bass on the subwoofer is deep without sounding fuzzy. The Vertical Surround virtual sound is really good and makes a convincing height channels for Atmos/DTS: X content. Only downside is I wish it had 3 HDMI inputs, it only has 2. Other than that, it is a great sounding bar for those looking for a new audio upgrade!

I’ve been very pleased with the quality of it. It is more in the expensive side. I feel like the value could definitely be better. I purchased a returned item to cut the cost a little. Sounds great though. The optional rear speakers seem a little pricey too. I have not purchased those yet.

The sound gets better as the sound is turned up. I highly recommend that you add the two rear wireless surround speakers. The only reason I give it 4 stars is due to the fact that the bass speaker could be a bit louder/intense as it seems to be a bit weak, but for an average sized room it works well.

To my ears this sounds just about as rich, clear and deep as the Sonos system and for less than half the price. Another plus is that this Sony system decodes DTS sound which Sonos, for some reason, does not. I have not yet bought the wireless rear speakers but it is only a matter of time before I do. While this system is only 3.1 sound it simulates 5.1 sound quite well.
