Questionable sound bar

Not sure if it was the installation or the bar itself, but you have to turn up the TV volume to clearly hear and for some reason the volume number on the TV is twice what the sound bar shows.

Depending on the input signal and the sound mode setting, surround sound processing may not work effectively. The only issue was the setup took a bit longer than I anticipated. The wiring instructions were not as straight forward as I had hoped, which resulted in some time to understand exactly what needed to be done. If this was more clear... I would have given 5 stars.

Sometimes it turns on with the tv and other times it doesn’t and I can’t figure out why. The main reason I got this was the ability to better hear the voices without having to turn it up too loud and I am very pleased with it for that alone.

We are sorry if you are having an issue syncing this soundbar to your Sony TV. The issue you experienced may be resolved by resetting the BRAVIA Sync function between the TV and the soundbar. You will need to go into the menu of the TV and get to the BRAVIA Sync settings. Clear out any devices paired and turn the feature off. Then, disconnect the HDMI cable between the soundbar and TV from both products. Unplug both the TV and soundbar from the power outlet for 1 minute and plug them back in. Reconnect the HDMI cable between the products and enable BRAVIA Sync. You should have audio connections re-established.
