While my living room is large with cathedral ceilings and an opening to a loft area, these speakers fill up the space nicely. I especially love the sub with its rich base tone. One draw back to the sound bar are the top controls. my cat will jump up on it and alter the sound or just turn it off altogether!

It has decent sound quality but the virtual sound effects are not outstanding. The exterior design of this sound bar looks somewhat cheap. I think Bose soundbar is better.

The system is a little bit complicated for my abilities and it took me a while to get to where I feel I am using the system to it's fullest. It is at its best when watching movies. I like the voice feature to enhance the sound of people talking in movies. To me the sound is a bit off when listening to talk shows and news programs, even when set to "news" setting. The biggest complaint so far has been that the sound will go off on its own, requiring the switch to internal speakers, if it will let me, then switching back. Doing all this while the program is continuing. This seems to happen while watching Netflix or Amazon Prime movies. If a program is paused the sound will keep going ahead of the picture, or will not come back at all. I have not figured how to fix this yet, other that to do a full reset of system.
