Started off great... Now Would NOT recommend

It setup wonderfully. Looks great and worked great... For about a month. Since then, it is constantly dropping signal to the sub and rear speakers that I also purchased. I have tried many different options, positions, solutions to no avail. I can't watch a single movie without the sub and rear speakers cutting out at least 20 times. It's only for a few seconds but it basically is worthless at this point. $1000+ and I'd rather listen to the TV speakers. I'm almost a year into my purchase so I'm without a warranty. I really thought dropping $1k on a Sony product, I would have something that works...but I am very very disappointed. I would not buy this again and would not buy a Sony soundbar again. If you are looking at purchasing this, I urge you to reconsider. It isn't worth The frustration. And it isn't just me. Just do a simple Google search and you'll see it is a known issue with no solution.

No passthrough for 4k @ 120hz

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Discovered this didn’t have 4k @ 120hz passthrough as it wasn’t 2.1 HDMI compatible yet it was offered in a package deal with a Sony Bravia 4k @ 120hz. So I couldn’t use it for gaming with the PS5. The A7000 should have been the one offered with it at a special package deal price. Nope. I ended up buying the Sony A7000 anyway at a much higher price. Good luck.

Great sound bar for small space

Great purchase

I have it hooked up through Sony TV and a Sony uhd Blu-ray player, and it works great. Sounds crystal clear and meshes well with this setup

I love that it doesn't require a bunch of wires running everywhere, or the physical space requirements of having a true setup.

It is constantly losing connection with the subwoofer. This was not a cheap sound bar. It’s paired with a brand new Sony TV. It should work right. I’ve done everything all the internet boards and the manual suggests. Hopefully I can convince Best Buy and Sony to do right thing and replace. It’s garbage.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your HTZ9F. While we are glad that you like the sound quality of the soundbar, we regret that you are having issues with the subwoofer going out. We'd like to help and troubleshoot the unit. Please try some of the solutions below if there is no sound on the subwoofer.
Press SW volume+ on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume
Make sure that the power indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green.
If the power indicator on the subwoofer does not light, try the following.
– Make sure the AC power cord (mains lead) of the subwoofer is connected properly.
– Press (power) of the subwoofer to turn on the power.
If the power indicator on the subwoofer flashes slowly in green or lights in red, try the following.
– Move the subwoofer to a location near the main unit so that the power indicator on the
subwoofer lights in green.
– Check the wireless connection status
If the power indicator on the subwoofer flashes in red, press (power) of the subwoofer to turn off
the power and check whether the ventilation holes of the subwoofer is blocked or not
