Easy setup

Not worth the premium

Voice (speaking parts) is more clear and it adds a deeper sound to music and action scenes. I enjoy the bluetooth capability too, for playing music from my phone. But I do think Sony stereos are way over priced. (I purchased this one 50% off.) So that's why I'm not recommending it. There are better options out there for the money.

[Up Off] - Standard
[Up 1] - Dialog is easily heard by enhancing dialog range.
[[Up 2] - Dialog range is enhanced more than [Up 1] mode.
Verify if it happens from all sources such as apps in the TV, cable box or gaming console. If not, it may be an issue with the source. To ensure you're getting the optimal sound quality, please follow the steps below:
Increase the volume of the Soundbar using the remote control.
Increase the volume of the output device, such as a TV or audio device.
Turn off the Night Mode setting. On the Soundbar remote control, press the NIGHT button to turn off the Night Mode setting.
Try switching to different sound modes.

I wanted a cheaper tv 600 max but he sold me on the Sony and sound bar and extra satellite speakers. Great job and loved the whole experience.

But at least once a week it requires a full reset along with unplugging the unit. If not the wireless function works intermittently. By that I mean multiple times in a minute. I’ve read that this is a known issue with Sony, but the workarounds that others have posted do not work for me. They recommend not connecting the unit to WiFi but no go. I tried calling the store, but in the world of COVID Best Buy has decided that talking to store associates that sold customers products is unacceptable as you cannot call ANY store. The store didn’t have the system in stock so no exchange. Return or send to Sony for repair for something I’ve owned 29 days. It was $800 well spent.

It was purchased on Black Friday sales. My only problem is how Best buy delivered it. They left it on my porch where it was visible to strangers. It would have been better if they notified me by ringing my door bell or via txt message. It is an expensive sound system. Plus, for some odd reason we were told we could not pick up from the store.
