||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This sound bar sounds ok but the problem is it puts the TV in a sleep mode so it is almost impossible to get to operate properly without to much work. I connected it as recommended first then at the request of Best Buy I tried a different connection with a little better help after a week of trying to get it to work I had my cable guy to try a digital connection. I sent a request to Sony and no help there not even a reply. The issue is you can not get the tv to come on without to much effort. It has to be done with the Sony remote initially and the real problem is the bar will come on and the next attempt the tv will come on and the bar will cut off. After several attempts going back and forth you have to go to the tv and cut it on so the bar does not cut off. After you get them on properly the cable remote works perfectly on and off at your will until it is turned off and left off for some time. After a hour or so you have to start all over again. In case you think it is the tv I bought two at the same time and I switched them after a couple days and both do the same with the bar but work great without the bar. Poor Sony may know the problem but will not respond to my request for help

I’m was disappointed playing 4k Dolby atmos the sound was not that great on this Sony unit The demo in store had rear speakers that you can’t disable the 3D effect was not the same at home .for the price the Samsung has a better sound with up firing speakers the only disadvantage no atmos or dts-x .
