The JBL sounds AMAZING but there is an unfixable audio delay no matter how you set it up so unfortunately it has to go back. I tried this Sony which is quite a bit more expensive than the JBl, and man was I disappointed. The first thing I noticed when I got it out of the box was how tiny the tweeters are. Even with the help of the underwhelming sub this thing just can’t give you movie theater levels of sound. The tweeters are just too small. No matter what setting I used everything sounds pretty lacking in bass and just too tinny. It does not produce a good full sound. It does have some kind of virtual height setting but that just made everything sound even less dynamic to me. I used this for all of an hour then straight back to the store. Most definitely overpriced for what you get here.

The surround effect from all directions differs depending on the sound source. You can feel immersed by the sound from not only the horizontal direction, but also from the upward direction by using Vertical Surround Engine*
