I WANTED to like it, but it really wasn't much of an upgrade over my high end TV's speakers. I gave it a couple of weeks, but it just wasn't enough of an upgrade to be worth what I spent.

different kinds of sound sources, VOICE function for added clarity, NIGHT function to output at low volume with minimum loss of fidelity and clarity of dialog, and DSEE HX function that upscales existing sound. Please refer to the link below for more information about these features:

Subwoofer is hard to even tell if it is on. Confirmed the settings and can see green light but not impressed. Way too much money for average sound. Wish I would have spent half the money and probably have about the same quality.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We regret to hear that we ere not able to meet your expectation with quality of the sound of the HTZ9F. We'd like to help troubleshoot and isolate your connections. Try some of these solutions if there is only a very low-level sound is heard from the subwoofer.
Press SW volume+ on the remote control to increase the subwoofer volume
Make sure that the power indicator on the subwoofer is lit in green.
If the power indicator on the subwoofer flashes slowly in green or lights in red, try the following.
– Move the subwoofer to a location near the main unit so that the power indicator on the subwoofer lights in green.
– Follow the steps in “Connecting the Subwoofer and Rear Speakers

– Check the wireless connection
status (page 63).
- If the input sources contain very little bass sound components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from the subwoofer may be difficult to hear.
You can check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test tone (page 59).
- Set the night mode to off. For details, see “Enjoying Clear Sound with Low Volume at Midnight (NIGHT)” (page 50).
- If you change the [RF Channel] setting from [Off] to [On] (page 34), it may take 1 minute for the sound to be output.
