eARC not working on Sony 2020 TVs

I tried different settings but it seems like its a problem with this sound bar and newer Sony TV's. Those who have PS5's be sure to read the forums. The audio delay is bad.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We regret to hear you are having sound delays on the HTZ9F soundbar when using EARC connection. We'd like to help and isolate the issues. Please make sure that the software is updated on your Sony devices as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements. For audio delays, try some of these solutions.
Set the adjustment value of the delay between the picture and sound to 0 msec if it is set to the range between 25 msec and 300 msec.
A time gap between the sound and picture may occur depending on the sound source. If your TV has a function that delays the image, use it for adjustment.
If there is a device nearby that generates electromagnetic waves, such as a wireless LAN or a
microwave oven in use, locate the system apart from it.
If there is an obstacle between the main unit and the rear speaker, move
or remove it.
Locate the main unit and the rear speaker as close as possible.
Switch the network connection of the TV or Blu-ray Disc player from wireless to wired.

Also, had a crackle and even a pop in it when powered on every three out of five times. Ended up turning in to geek squad and went with a Sonos.

Unsure about geek squad

So i can say it looks nice, and appears to be solid. I since returned the sound bar, dove almost 2 hours round trip out of my way for the credit. We are talking about a 1000 dollar sound bar. (954 with tax)
