I have it paired with a Sony Bravia X90L TV plus their wireless subwoofer (SA-SW5) and the wireless rear speakers (SA-RS5) which takes everything to another level. I like the acoustic center sync option which lets you use your TV as an additional cener chanel. I got an open box version which looked brand new. I upgraded from the HT-S2000 and i’m not disappointed. It all works flawlessly, is controllable from the TV menus, sounds great, and looks great. Unless you need something bigger for your space (mine is all in my bedroom) then I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes after startup it takes a while to connect to the TV. I’ve found it I turn it on first THEN the TV, it’s much less tempramental.

Great Setup and Easy Use

I bought this product three months ago and I have been very satisfied with how it works. How it handles sound how it handles base. For the price this is a great sound bar obviously there’s better sound bars like the Sony theater sound bars those are premium the top of the line but the Sony HGA 3000 is a great sound bar for the price I bought it with my Sony Bravia, ATV and I have the sound bar paired up with my sub and my two rear speakers and it brings movie theater to the home

Prefect size for my LG 42’ oled

So i needed another smaller bar for my office but not as big as the a5000 or a7000, not breaking the bank, and with atmos. Went on a limb with the a3000 and I can say I’m also impressed. By itself it does give the allusion of a wide sound field to make you feel there is more speakers than the bar. The bass is just the right amount for a small room. And have the ability to add on a choice of surrounds and subs. I pair them with the SR5 atmos surrounds which gave the 360 dome effect which can be amazing ( depending on the content). I am truly impressed by Sony with their line of atmos soundbars, I went through a jbl 9.1, Vizio elevate, and my older Vizio 5.1.4 bar before settling with Sony. My only con is it can be expensive. I can say if you have the room go for the A5000 ( 5.1.2 by itself rather than 3.1)

Perfect for voice clarity

The HY A3000 Sound Bar allows us to hear with clarity as never before. The Sony XR77A95L television is mounted on a stand that wasn't quite wide enough to moving the mounting legs to the outboard position so the Geek Squad technicians suggested that I build a shelf (since I built the original cabinet) and they returned the following day to mount the Sound Bar. We are completely satisfied with the service and the quality.

No Boom/Bass Sound As It Was At The Store
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this sound bar yesterday, March 22, 2025, and paired it with the Sony SA-SW3 200W Wireless Subwoofer, because I liked how nice it sounded at the store. Nice bass "boom" sound. I also paired it with the Sony - SA-RS3S Wireless Rear Speaker since sounded nice with these speakers as well. I did not know that there was a 3.1 sound bar that you can have with rear speakers. All the ones I have seen are that only have a subwoofer. No rear speakers. For that, it has to be higher than 3.1. After setting it up at home and testing it out with a good action movie, the quality of the sound in general of the sound bar and the rear speakers is nice. The voice is clear. When it comes to the bass/subwoofer sound, it is not the greatest. Barely hear and feel the boom sound as heard at the store. I set the subwoofer next to the couch where sitting. I have the setting for the subwoofer in max and still not the greatest. Also, with this system, the level for the rear speakers controls both at the same time. Does not control them individually as seen with other systems. For the price of what the total system cost me I have to say is not worth it since can get a different sound system (been a 5.1 or higher) that will give me this sound quality for less money. Disappointed that the subwoofer not sounding like did at the store. That is what I mainly liked about it since it what been looking for in a sound system and so far the ones I have purchased have not been good regardless of what they have been advertised to be as - Bring the boom - Have tried different Samsung QSeries systems. As of now I plan in returning it for a refund. Spent a total of $899.97 (before taxes) Did not purchase the protection plans.

Posted .Hi christopherg, we are sorry to hear that your experience has not been as expected with the sound bar and the optional subwoofer/speakers. We would like to encourage to perform some steps to take care of this problems. 1- Set the Sound Field to ON, on the Sound bar remote press Sound Field button to turn it on, you should see [SF.ON] on the sound bar display.
2 - Enable the 360 spatial sound mapping to on. Go to setup> advanced settings > audio settings > 360 spatial sound mapping > set to ON. 3 - Make sure the sound bar and the subwoofer/speakers are up to date, in order to check, first make sure your subwoofer/speakers are turned on and connected to the speaker system. Then go to Setup > Advanced settings > software update
4 - Try different content and sources, the subwoofer is designed for playback of bass or low frequency sound which is not found in regular TV shows, try to go to YouTube or any app for music and test it there.

Great Soundbar for the Bedroom!

Easy to set up with the eArc HDMI to the TV. The sound is crisp and clear. The setup is in a small bedroom and it has more than enough sound to fill the room. It does lack low-end bass, but an added subwoofer would help complete the setup. This was purchased with a really good deal when buying a TV and soundbar together. This soundbar had a total of $300 off.
