My First Soundbar!

Awesome Sound bar and Subwoofer

I previously had the Samsung sound bar and Sub woofer. They pale in comparison! This was money well spent. No one does sound like Sony :)

We feel privileged to know that the sound quality of the HT-A3000 soundbar initially impressed you and we are truly sorry to hear about the loud static sounds you've been experiencing intermittently. We understand your frustration, especially given that it worked well at first.
To solve this problem, follow these steps:
-Ensure that the HDMI cables are securely connected and that they are of high speed. If there are any long cables, adapters, or extenders being used, consider replacing them as these can contribute to audio issues.
-Perform a power reset of both the TV and the audio system. Disconnect them from power for about two minutes, then reconnect and power them on in the correct order (TV first, then audio system).
-Consider testing the soundbar with a different HDMI cable or testing the speaker with a different audio device.

Why I take a couple stars away is because my main issue is they advertise this sound bar allows to use your newer model Sony tvs speakers synced up to the sound for a more robust full sound. However what they don’t tell you is that it makes an awful hissing sound from the tv when this feature is on. Very noticeable and hurts the ears after hearing it for a while. Worst part is when I reached out to Sony they claimed this is how the product is intended to function, hissing sound and all. My advise is to stay away from the Sony echo system and look else where.
