Beautiful design, play many audio formats. However, the lack of a separate subwoofer connection port does not use willess audio technology.

Sub-woofer creates a lot of bass and have to keep the TV low or you hear the reverberations. Product petforms very well and is compatable with 77 inch LG TV just purchased.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this Sony HTA3000 3.1CH Dolby Atmos Sound Bar (as well as wireless subwoofer and rear surround speakers) for at least six weeks. It/they have great [cinematic quality] sound and sync well with onscreen speech/activity. I have not yet tried linking my phone to the sound bar but have no doubt that it will work equally as well. I previously had a 55” LG 4K LED TV with a Vizio Sound Bar; mismatched products. Had an issue with audio out-of-sync (like watching/listening to English-dubbed Asian movies) and could not get settings to correct it. Also, whenever the streaming services memory storage was maxed out (TV issue), it caused audio and other glitches, causing a need to Reset the TV back to factory standards. Compared to my older entertainment system, I have never encountered anything similar. After various questions answered by the Best Buy TV sales agent, I feel extremely confident that I never will experience such issues.

It was easy to hook up and the voices were crystal clear and the sound effects were good while not overwhelming. Unfortunately it kept shutting off and/or disconnecting. Right in the middle of the Georgia Florida game. No sound! The soundbar would not turn back on and when it did it would turn off and refuse to come back on.

Sony Soundbar with Strong Bass, Maybe Too Strong

When you raise the volume for clearer dialogue, the bass suddenly becomes too loud, forcing you to constantly readjust the volume. The listening experience can feel unbalanced because of this. We sincerely apologize for the frustration you are experiencing with the bass performance. We understand that the overpowering bass that requires constant volume readjustment when trying to achieve clearer dialogue is making the listening experience feel unbalanced.
For enhanced dialogue clarity and better bass control, we recommend exploring the settings available in the Home/Setup menu of the soundbar (accessible via the remote control). You should be able to manually adjust the subwoofer/bass level independently, as well as try the Voice Mode feature, which is designed to specifically isolate and enhance spoken dialogue frequencies without boosting the overall volume too much.
