Within the app, please ensure you enable the 'Prioritize Sound Quality' setting. This allows the device to utilize AAC and LDAC™ codecs rather than just standard SBC, providing a much higher resolution for your music. Additionally, you can use the Built-in Equalizer to manually boost or cut specific bass, midrange, or treble frequencies to suit your personal preference. This is very nice for people who don't feel comfortable using headphones or something like that!

You’ll want more than one!

For exercising and working out, she has found out ear pods that isolate the noise and work great. But for watching TV or listening to music while she works, wearing something clipped to her ears get uncomfortable and it’s to isolating. Enter this around the neck form factor. Interesting, we thought. Surely it can’t sound very good though. But Sony is a heavy hitter in sound, so why not give it a try. Wow!! First of all, the unit is super lightweight, but smooth and solid. All the surfaces are soft touch, and the part the goes around her neck is soft and unobtrusive. The arms lay lightly on her collarbones routing the sound to her ears. The buttons for connection, power, and volume are on either side of the arms and easy to identify by touch. The charging and connection ports are on the outside of the arms. The only miss here is the included charging cable is an outdated USB-A to USB-C instead of the standard C to C. We use a C to C to charge it instead of that included slower cable. The battery life is stellar, but since it’s not in your ears, you can charge while you’re using it very easily if needed! Now, what about the sound? Again, WOW. It’s Sony and it excels at clear, rich sound. It’s not muffled or artificially enhanced, just pure and defined from booming bass to clear dialog. With Dolby Atmos sources, the surround is unbelievable from these little candy bars hanging around your neck. I couldn’t believe it. Yes, it’s audible to others in the same room, but being able to game and watch action filled movies after others have gone to bed, is incredible. You can crank up the sound and feel immersed without shaking the house or being completely isolated. I highly recommend and we will be picking up an addition unit for our household!

If your TV supports BLUETOOTH profiles for music playback (A2DP), you can connect the neckband speaker to your TV via Bluetooth and listen to the audio through the speaker.
