The primary neck strap can have a little less give to maintain the security and hold the shape better on your neck also.soild product

Sony HTAN7 THEATER U NECKBAND SPEAKER

The ilder model connects via this puck that is connected to optical input of tv ( has to be Sony tv ) or using the Bluetooth. This newer one connects via Bluetooth only. Sounds pretty good as well and maybe better than the older model. Mot that the older one sounds ok, it still sounds very good but it had some echo if you connect it via the puck. The neck band of this newer version is flexible unlike the older version. Both are fantastic in my opinion, others may not like this. To each his / her own. Yes, i do recommend this IF u have a Sony tv, will still work with other tvs but you have to use the Bluetooth funtion.

I’m impressed the sound is crisp and clean gives a true surround sound. The only flaw is the bass it’s minimal.

Even with the TV at a very high volume she would miss parts of dialog. Any time characters would whisper, she'd say "what did they say". Now she's hearing everything including all the nuanced sounds that she likely hasn't heard in decades

Give those Hearing Aides a break

Great Sound works seamlessly with Sony TV

The sound is great, and as I get older, I appreciate being able to have the speakers right next to my ears. One drawback, it moves on your neck, so it's not a great speaker if you're trying to do chores. It's great if you're lying in bed though.

It Works, I can hear more than before

I like to use it at night. It is much easier to hear, and I hear more when using it. Everything seems to pop. It fits okay. I wish the sides could mold around your neck as well, but it works very well. People with hearing aids will love this. It's so much better than turning up the volume all the way.

Great for gaming, music, movies, tv… heck almost everything!!! Incredible sound, great battery life, very comfortable. This product will not disappoint you. I have all types of headphones and speakers, and the sound from gaming the PS5 and Xbox is incredible. A nice break for your head and ears when you don’t feel like chatting. Great battery life too! This saved my marriage

When my wife complains that the TV is too loud, I turn these on and I feel as if im sitting watching TV at the volume i like without compromising on the surround sound and Boom. Battery life is about a full day and a half. It works great at any distance no problem and i connect it to all my electonic devices, tv, cellphone, laptop, amazon fire stick, etc

First of all the sound quality is very good. But what I'm most pleased with is the ability to better understand the spoken word on TV programs(especially sports events where background noise would drown out announcer speech). I wear hearing aids and have constantly used sub titles. Now I'm sure it all depends on an individual's particular hearing issue, but for me it certainly has helped.
