Sound quality was very poor and disappointing for a product like Sony, I expected way better than I got in this one. I returned it, its really not worth it at all.

Commercials, music, clapping, anything other than speech are ear shattering, but dialog is still not clear . Must keep remote in hand to constantly change volume.

Thank you for the review, we are sorry the product did not meet your expectations. Regarding of the sound quality, make sure to use the different sound fields the Soundbar includes, such as Cinema or Auto Sound, which would enhance the experience according to the content displayed. Also, Voice Mode being turned on can make a difference.

Hate that I’m stuck with this broken item

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lacks sound quality and on top of that, it became defective after a month and a week so guess what that means, I’m out of the return policy window and now I’m stuck with something that doesn’t work. Stay away from this item. Or if you do buy it, sign up and pay monthly for the membership that allows you 3 months to return it because you will need it.

I bought this sound bar a Sony a week later. It did improve the sound. Howeverthe following week I bought a JBL any it was so much better for $60 more. I put the Sony in storage. I wouldn't recommend buying this particular Sony sound bar. I have another Toshiba TV and the speakers in that TV are far better than this particular Sony sound bar.
