Easy to connect to my tv and set up. I love the Bluetooth feature. I play music by linking my phone to it. Overall i really like it and it was a reasonable price.

Alternate review title: "Audio quality is only marginally better than TV speakers!" It's true. This soundbar essentially seems to be TV speakers placed in a long box. They are going to sound better than your TV speakers for the fact that these are facing forward while your TV speakers are built into the bezel of your TV and facing down. The Sony HTS100F has virtually no bass response, so music and movies sound pretty poor compared to others. Don't get me wrong, these speakers ARE an improvement to the built-in speakers of your TV. But is it worth $100? I would say "no." Spend a little more money and get something that will be far superior (see the Yamaha below). I had the opportunity to purchase three different open box soundbars from Best Buy: - Yamaha SR-C20ABL for $104 ($180 retail) - Samsung - HW-S60B for $87 ($350 retail, lucky find!) - this Sony HTS100F for $38 ($100 retail) The Samsung is a 5.0 soundbar, and 2-3x the cost of the others (retail), so naturally sounded the best. The Yamaha 2.1 soundbar actually sounded pretty good with the built-in subwoofer, almost rivaling the Samsung in my subjective movie and audio testing. The Sony HTS100F was a distant third in comparison. The TV speakers on my 85" Samsung TV sounded almost as good as the Sony. With nothing else to compare it to, one might think the Sony soundbar is pretty good. But if you ever get a chance to compare it to others, you'll see like I did that the Sony HTS100F really isn't that good of a soundbar. It is worth it to pay a little more to get something vastly superior.

Use this soundbar in my man cave which is a small room. Sound quality is good for the area with a little base added as a small package sound bar .

It works well for the space. It was easy to install and it works with my remote.

Got this as an open box. It's pretty good for $40. Don't expect anything crazy, but this is nice for an apartment or bedroom. I'd love some Bose something, but they are really expensive.

The soundbar is good but if you are a bass head like myself, this is not the one for you. The bass doesnt do it for me at all, and the fact that i can't really increase it doesnt help either. A subwoofwr saves lives! Spend the extra bread trust me.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting much even though it’s a Sony branded soundbar but it genuinely surprised me how nice it sounded for the price. It’s pretty straight forward with how you set it up, since it’s not too complex.

Nice bar, good sound, not a problem to set up with TV and when I turn on the TV it automatically turns on.

Just what we needed. My husband loves it, it was his Christmas present, he wanted one with remote that worked with the tv.
