Just follow the instructions. You will need to buy an extra HDMI cable for connection to the ARC port on the TV.

low quality bass not good for theatre room

Really not meant for watching movies in a theatre room. If i still had the box I would return and exchange for a better soundbar

The audio quality on this was awful. I don't know where "bass-reflex" comes into the picture, but it had 0 bass ability. Normally, I think highly of Sony products, but not this purchase. I returned this for a comparably price TCL - S55H 2.1 with wireless sub-woofer.

You don’t get much bass at all and it’s not super loud even when turned all the way up. Not bad but there’s definitely better soundbars out there. You’ll get what you pay for with this purchase.
