Thank you for your feedback about the HVLF28RM flash. We are glad to hear that you found the flash great, compact, and lightweight. We actually don't suggest lithium-ion batteries to be used with the flash. What's suggested is alkaline or nickel-metal hydride (NI-MH) batteries.
