It didn’t work . I couldn’t even get to listen how was the sound.

I purchased this alarm clock after my 25 year old Sony Dream machine finally gave out , solely because it had the ability to extend snooze time beyond the 9 minutes every single alarm clock seems to be limited to, the snooze on this clock works as advertised, each press of the button gives you 10 more minutes of sleep, it’s easy to set up , takes up almost no room on your bedside table and all in all is a good alarm clock, I had to minus a star because it has no antenna, and finding a station to come in clearly, even in a very densely populated area on Long Island’s South Shore is a bit of a challenge. Other than that, no complaints.

This is an excellent product. The only reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is that the tuning is not digital. This is not really important but digital tuning is easier to use. The sound quality is very good and the display is just right for bedside table use. The operation is simple, including the "sleep" function (important to me). Very compact, so perfect for a small bedside table.

I like this clock radio. It is easy to use and a nice compact size. The radio reception is a bit off though.

Well after many years, my old clock radio failed. I wanted the new one to have more features than the old one. So off to Best Buy I went. And there it was, right on their display. It had all the new features I needed. Adjustable display brightness, great radio audio, a good alarm, backup AA battery in case of a power failure, and all in a nice compact size. I would definitely recomment this Sony ICF-C1 to anyone. Best Buy came through again.

Nice & compact, easy to set, not too bright but still easy to read, like the back up feature, sturdy.

We purchased one of these a couple years ago for a family member and was happy with it. I gave this latest one we purchased four stars because it had a buzzing noise in the background. Returned it for a replacement. So far so good with it. Like the compact size and easy to use.

This is an excellent alarm clock. It is easy to operate, the sound quality is good, and its design is contemporary and stylish. You should buy one for each of your bedrooms. :-)

Just a good basic alarm clock radio. If you're looking for an effective alarm clock and don't need it to also be a phone dock/charger, this one has you covered. I only briefly tested radio functionality as I don't plan on using that feature, but it seemed to get decent reception and the speaker sounds good enough for the scope of this device. The amber display is easy to read day and night, and the warm color is also less distracting at night than other colors might be (it can also be dimmed to a level where I can't imagine it bothering anyone at night). Pretty simple to set up and use. I like the simple black box design of it, although some people might not...outside of that the only real question is durability, which I can't comment on because I haven't owned it long enough as of writing this. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to someone looking for a simple alarm clock radio.

It is very stylish but unfortunately it doesn't show the number of the station. 4 stars because of sometimes it is difficult to get the station I want.

This item is friendly too use and good quality equipment by far . I recommend to the customer, if you need a radio, or clock this is appropriate

I purchased this clock/radio not for an alarm clock, but to use in a bathroom where FM reception has been difficult. I'm happy to report that the reception and tuning works fine, although to on/off buttons are not easy to identify.

This is a great Radio Alarm Clock. The time is clear and bright. It is easy to see from a distance. The set up instructions are easy to follow. You have your choice of a buzzer sound or music to wake you up. This Radio Alarm Clock has a snooze button. You set how long you want the music to play before it automatically turns off. Another quality this clock radio has, is that it does not take up a lot of space.

Like it, small, sounds good, and good price. Lite weight, easy to use.

This alarm-clock-radio is a perfect size for a bedside table land great for a single person or if only one person needs the alarm. I have an older model that has 2 alarms ( user A and user B) in a cube the same size as this one and still love it. But, I needed a second one and could only find this single user version A problem with this item is the Lithium battery. The instructions for the use and disposal of the battery are more extensive and detailed than the instructions and warnings for the rest of the clock radio.

Sony as usual is a great performing product.The only complaint on this item I purchased is the visible station display block is hard to read due to black on black...would be nicer if illuminated so you could easily read it....so tiny & should be a different color other than black..maybe white & light it up! Other than that it's a good space shaver radio with great clarity &sound reception. I also like that the time on clock set automatically adjust itself for daylight savings time when that rolls around twice a year. Thankyou Sony for a reliable product once more.

This clock radio is the perfect size for my bedside table, and it is easy to use, for the most part. The sound isn't bad, either, all things considered. I only wish that some of the setup was a bit more intuitive, and that like my previous clock radio, it had options to set up two different alarm settings at the same time. I always kept one setting for my regular getting up time, and used the second one for those days when a different time was needed. All in all, though, I am very happy with this product.

This clock is awesome. It’s compact and doesn’t take up much space on my side table. The alarm starts off quiet and then grows over time so you don’t get jolted out of sleep. And the display is a soft orange that isn’t at all intrusive. Love, love it.

This is not an easy to use alarm/radio. Dialing in the radio stations is hard to do. The sound quality is good if the radio station comes in clearly. I don't listen to main stream stations, I like NPR and Hope college stations, which don't always come in clear. My old Timex clock radio, which went kaput, did better than this one. I will have to use it right now, because you don't have any other options. Got to say I am a little disappointed.
