I was looking for a new "old school" clock radio, since I like to listen to the news first thing in the morning (gives me a good reason to go back to sleep). This was the only one I found at Best Buy and the price was reasonable. While it does what it is supposed to do, setting the alarm was not straightforward due to the small size of the buttons and the poor quality of the labels. Also, the ability to tune to a particular station is more by "feel" since there is no digital indication of the station. Finally, the ability to adjust the volume is awkward and has rather limited range. As I said, it gets the job done, but I am looking for a better solution.

Wow one of my best purchases. I love that it keeps time even when I lose power. Its alarm starts out quiet and gets louder over 30 seconds so you don’t have to worry about waking other people up. I love that it is dimmable and that the clock is elevated so I can see the time from my bed when it’s on top of the dresser.

Very compact. Easily distinguishable numbers from a distance. . Am going to buy another one .

It’s surprising that such a no frills small machine sounds so nice and clear. This was the only product at Best Buy that was just a basic radio, It’s sized just right and priced accordingly .

It is exactly what I needed. Compact and very functional

I really liked the design and feel of it, and for the price it's definitely worth it, but the main issue for me was not having a particularly high volume setting for the alarm. Tried everything to get it louder, but wouldn't go any higher. It's not too hard to setup either, but it definitely feels more complicated than it needs to be with the button placements. Otherwise, if you don't need anything particularly loud and just want a simple but not-cheap-feeling radio, it's actually really nifty and nice to listen to the radio on in the morning.

Needed a small AM/FM clock radio with battery backup and without any fancy accessories. This one was perfect. Very easy to set up and has good sound for such a small device.

I purchased this clock to replace the same model I purchased about five years ago. It is a great piece of equipment! The battery backup is perfect whenever we have a small power outage. The quality of the radio is excellent and the alarm features are great!

I purchased this to replace a Sony Dream Machine clock radio as I like waking up to the radio. The sound and reception of the ICF-C1 was better than expected. However, the clock gains time and adds 3+ minutes a week so it had to be reset often. I ended up no longer using it.

Alarm clock works. Backup battery that came with product was out of juice. No big deal. Great clock. Easily visible from across the room. 3 brightness settings. Alarm loud.
