I love this clock-radio. It's easy to set and change -- the time, -- the alarm time and on-off setting, -- the night-time light-level (to visible, but dark enough not to keep me awake), -- the radio reception, -- what-have-you. It replaces a string of other clock-radios that failed to make the grade in one or another of these ways. It cost more than most of those clock-radios did, but (unlike them) it's worth every penny of its cost. Easy-to-use matters!

Good inexpensive alarm clock, easy to set up, nice snooze

Once clock up and running it's great! Direction for start-up, not so much. Confusing, details not very good. After several frustrating start-up attempts per instruction, "bingo" it worked. Very accurate, and no distortion of letters and numbers. Get the directions for set-up rewritten and you've got a real 5 star winner.

I was looking for a new "old school" clock radio, since I like to listen to the news first thing in the morning (gives me a good reason to go back to sleep). This was the only one I found at Best Buy and the price was reasonable. While it does what it is supposed to do, setting the alarm was not straightforward due to the small size of the buttons and the poor quality of the labels. Also, the ability to tune to a particular station is more by "feel" since there is no digital indication of the station. Finally, the ability to adjust the volume is awkward and has rather limited range. As I said, it gets the job done, but I am looking for a better solution.

Radio compact with a good sound. Sits nicely beside bed.

I purchased this to replace a Sony Dream Machine clock radio as I like waking up to the radio. The sound and reception of the ICF-C1 was better than expected. However, the clock gains time and adds 3+ minutes a week so it had to be reset often. I ended up no longer using it.

Great sound and love the cube shape. Enjoy listening to music while i work on my crafts.

The only radio I could find that didn’t need an external antenna or wi fi. Actually had many stations that came in clearly.

I use it as an alarm clock. I set it to come on as music. It takes a bit to get it all set up, however as an alarm clock it is extremely easy to then use. It is easy to change the wake up time. And once it comes on (to music for me) then I hit the small button in middle & it goes off. I do nothing re: the next morning and it comes on at the the same time. For me, as an alarm clock - I love it.
