The PS5 Slim is to date the best Playstation console ever made. The PS5 not only has amazing graphics, but you get many options in the menu that make your life a lot easier. The size of the Slim version is a lot more convenient, slick, and modern compared to the original PS5. The four panels can be removed and it has great ventilation. It is silent. It makes virtually no sound while on and even while playing highly demanding games like God of War. The Dual Sense PS5 controller is an amazing piece of technology. The trigger L2 and R2 buttons are smooth and you can apply different amounts of pressure. With this controller you get a much more realistic sensation while playing many games. The lighting on the controller is customizable, and it has a great weight to it so that it does not feel flimsy in your hands. It is backwards compatible with PS4 games, so you don't have to say goodbye to playing your favorite games from the prior system. Overall, the price was perfect and it was absolutely worth the buy. In regards to storage, the console only comes with 1TB. It could have come with at least 2TB of storage due to so many games being very heavy. So, eventually you will definitely have to purchase a separate M.2 SSD or an external drive in order to fit all of your games. Still, this console is worth it. The loading speed for the system itself and for games are incredible and better than ever before on any other console. Finally, after so many years of waiting, through Best Buy I was able to get my hands on the much acclaimed and elusive Playstation 5.

This was special for many reasons, but primarily because my son worked and saved by tutoring to afford it himself. The staff was so impressed that a 12 yr old did it on his own. To get his most wanted game as part of the bundle was icing on the cake! Graphics and game availability are amazing. The storage is far superior to what we would need and the controller is a definite upgrade to the standard PS4 unit

This is the slim model, but that doesn't mean it's any less powerful! The SSD built in makes for quick game loading times, so I spend more time having fun, rather than waiting for the game to start. The controller, utilizing responsive triggers add a new level of immersion to my games, most noticably when I am operating a bow in Horizon:Forbidden West, to a gun in Resident Evil 4. And the haptic feedback, it's basically a rumble feature with more immersive response based on game atmosphere. A good example, in the pre-loaded title included with EVERY PS5 console, Astro's Playroom, has sections where rain is falling, and you can feel when the rain hits the little umbrella he deploys above his head. Another perk to the slim model, it stands in vertical position perfectly without the need for an extra accessory, which is great for saving space if you have a limited amount... though I would only recommend doing this if you don't have young kids in your home, as it is more resistant to tipping, but not immune... Another bonus to the slim model, built in 1 TB SSD, compared to the original model's 800 GB. Games do take up more space, but that's where the internal SSD slot shines! With a proper Internal SSD (sold separately), you can upgrade your storage to up to 8 TB (If I remember correctly...) I think I've said enough, I can't recommend this system enough, especially if you're upgrading from the PS4!

Sometimes, being the ever-so-patient gamer can either be grueling or absolutely rewarding. Or… just both, simultaneously. The Playstation 5 SLIM with a disc drive priced at a staggering $449 (as of this writing) is like receiving a call from Nature to make you instinctively purchase the product. The Playstation 5 Slim comes in a slimmer (har-har) box that just feels like a sleeve cover, so be careful opening it as it can tear if desperation overwhelms you. The packaging is fairly simple, and as the site here has detailed, you get everything from the one controller to the cords. Just keep in mind, that the vertical stand is not included and is sold separately. The console is very easy to set up. Updates don’t seem to take too long and the UI isn’t too hard to navigate through… if anything, I’d say it’s more simplified. ***Also note, that I found a weird bug during the updating process in the beginning. I don’t remember if it was a controller update (yes, each controller updates when needed) or a system update, but the screen would just leave you in an infinite loop where it shows nothing but the background and no text or prompt. Just power off the system and turn it back on, that should fix the problem and finish the final update. It’s backwards compatible with PS4 games! Maybe not ALL of them, but almost. Having the disc drive is THE reason for owning this variation of the Playstation 5. Cheers to anyone who has picked up their system!

I've been waiting on the PS5 for a LONG time and it didn't disappoint .. the loading speed, the graphics and the performance are ALL top notch. The controller is smooth and responsive. My only complaint is that the storage capacity of the base model is less than what I was coming from but I had a PS4 Pro so that is not surprising. All in all it is a VAST improvement and I can not wait to play those PS5 exclusives!!

The slim model is much more compact and easier to grab and go compared to the original ps5 model. I installed marvels Spider-Man 2 and it ran well with no problem. The only thing I’d have to mention is that during my gameplay with Spider-Man 2 I would hear a faint but noticeable high pitched noise coming from the fan of the ps5 slim. I couldnt compare the noise level to the original ps5 as I dont have it anymore. For reference I sit about 8 to 9 feet away from my tv with the ps5 beside it and I can easily hear the noise. It’s not too disturbing but it’s noticeable. That’s the only thing I noticed while playing Spider-Man 2, with other games I didn’t hear the same noise. Great purchase would recommend buying this slim model if you don’t have a ps5 yet or if you’re on the fence on whether to get the original or the slim model.

The graphics are stunning! Gameplay and easy to use interface! PlayStation always delivers top notch consoles! Innovative and options to upgrade internal hard drive is an awesome feature that lacked in the previous PlayStation 4

I bought this ps5 not a while ago and it’s fantastic it makes no noise compared to the ps4 I had the ps5 in a sorta connote it was very loud but when I moved it to a more spacious spot was was very quiet the controllers are a huge upgrade for PS4 because of its haptic feedback. when I play, I feel like I’m actually there with the controllers, moving and reacting to what you do. The graphics on zoom and a huge upgrade from my PlayStation 4. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has enough for it.

this is my first playstation console. the loading speeds and overall console performance is great, and i am yet to have any issues. the controller feels good to hold and tv haptic triggers are a really cool addition. overall i think it it is well worth the price. it has plenty of games to play as well. picking it up in store was quick and easy and a good experience.

What can I say about this console, currently in perfect condition, Sony always delivers the best items, I give it the highest score for giving me the spiderman code. It is a console that can easily last me 10 years. It does not disappoint you, I sold my PS4 and I am very happy with my purchase. If you compare the original PS5 (fat) vs the slim, it is much lighter the slim. Recommended. five stars.

Great Price! This PS5 has the optic drive and includes Spiderman 2. I am really enjoying Spiderman 2 and love that the DL is the full game. Was easily able to transfer all my PS4 data over to the PS5, and connected my external hard drive easy.

Much prefer the size of the slim to the original. It operates quietly, boots near-instantly, and includes a HMDI 2.1 cable—although the cable isn’t long enough for me. One other very small nit-to-pick: I wish the controller’s battery didn’t drain so quickly. These are small issues for me though. Bonus round: if you use this as a streaming device, you may want to grab the PS media remote.

I waited so long to get this system as I was waiting for a slim version. This system has been amazing. The graphics are beautiful and the game selection is great. Love how the controller lights up and you can hear people talk from it in some games as well.

This this PS5 is amazing. Graphics are out of this world. Loading times are quick. Lots of games and suport. It was a very easy install. Took me all of 3 min to get it powered on. If your are thinking about getting the ps5 i would definitely recommend this package set from best buy. It come with all the cords controller and necessary equipment you need to start playing right away along with spider man 2 digitally download full game The spider man game it self is like no other. The best of the series in my opinion. Last but definitely not least, the purchase from best buy was fun easy and perfect transaction. I made my purchases on line with instore pick up. The employees were fast and helpful. They answered all my question and even gave me some helpful hints for my new perchance. Standing in line in and out in 5 min. Will definitely be back for future purchases.

What's not to like?!? There's a reason Sony is KILLIN' in sales right now. PS5 "Slim" has all the power of the O.G., and still fits in my entertainment center. Even had a blast modding my controllers!! Now I wanna upgade the TV just to get the most outta this thing. Glad Best Buy had a plethora of unit bundles on hand.
