Even if you only have one tv you can still play your PlayStation 5 and watch your movies thru tour cable network! This device is a PS5 on the go with your account. Lets say your cousing want to play your play station with his own account, well he can just by making a account in the PlayStation. He can play while your not playing. So is family shared device is great !

Make sure you have premium ps stream subscription in order to play without tethering

Is a nice item to have to play PlayStation games on the go. Wish it would hold a internet connect a bit better though

I play the ps5 and games more often, since i dont have to be in the same room. I do wish it had bluetooth and a way to store games. Other then that its been a great buy

It is fun to use my only problem with it is when I connect it to my Play station the graphics sometimes get worse so you have to disconnect it and then re connect it but other than that it’s good

It works great! Just connect to WiFi and I’m able to play the games in console back at home, this is great for kids on the go!

You gotta have good internet and WiFi for this to play well. If you do it’s pretty sweet. It would be 5 stars if the usb port supported audio out. Shane on PlayStation for not including that basic functionality. Other than the usb audio thing though it’s pretty nice to have, I would buy it again.

Great handheld. It’s what I needed as I can’t be in front of a screen at all times to game. It makes moving and gaming a lot easier. I’ll be honest it made me think about getting a steam Deck or an Asus Rog Ally, which will allow me to have full mobility and portability. The one saving grace is PS5’s exclusive titles from knee jerking that direction.

I bought the PlayStation Portal thinking multiple people could use the PlayStation at the same time. I later found out that only one person can use the PS5 if you are streaming directly from it, which I should have researched before buying. The Portal can still be used if you have a PlayStation Plus Premium membership, since it allows you to stream games directly from the cloud without connecting to your PS5. But for that, you need a strong and stable internet connection, otherwise the experience is frustrating. Even though I had more than a decent internet connection, I experienced lower fps, reduced resolution, and constant lagging. On the positive side, the ergonomics are excellent and the Portal is relatively affordable compared to other handheld gaming devices. I ended up returning mine because I could not play the games I already owned, which was the main reason I bought it, and the cloud gaming option never provided a smooth or reliable experience.

I always trust them. I know they will respond to any emergency or need due to problems with the quality of the electronics.

I got this for my bf for xmas and he loved it. You don’t need a ps5 to use it it has a monthly subscription for $18. It’s very good quality everything works fine and we love it glad i made this purchase.

Girlfriend plays on this while I’m watching football. She loves it.

This device is a must have for any PS5 owner! I waited a bit to buy because the initial run of it sold out everywhere. It looks fantastic and the sound is just as great. No longer am I bound to play my PS5 infront of a TV!

Excellent product and best gadget ever loved it gaming

Works great when you are home and connected to stable wifi. Bought to use in the car for a long road trip. Buffered the whole way. Could not play games well. We attempted hot spots, car wifi, everything we could think of and the connection was spotty at best. Do not recommend for mobile play.
