Regarding the connection issues you experienced while walking outdoors, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to improve the stability of the connection:
1. Change the Bluetooth Connection Quality: In the Sony | Sound Connect app, you can adjust the Bluetooth Connection Quality setting to prioritize a stable connection. This may help reduce audio skipping.
2. Turn off the Speak-to-Chat function: This feature can sometimes cause interruptions in the audio. You can disable it in the Sony | Sound Connect app under the Sound tab.
3. Minimize Interference: Ensure that no other devices are connected to the headphones simultaneously, as this can cause interference. Additionally, try to keep the headphones and the playback device close together.
4. Reset the Headphones and Playback Device: Sometimes, resetting both the headphones and the playback device can resolve temporary malfunctions. Place the headphones in the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, and then remove them. Restart your playback device as well.
5. Reinitialize the Headphones: If the issue persists, you can initialize the headphones to return them to factory settings and pair them again with your device.
