It's a battery just charge it and go! Duh! It's compact and charges quickly.

Bought two of these batteries as spares for my new Sony DSC-HX80 camera. Have recharged them a couple of times now with no problems and they also have a good long use life. Would have preferred to pay less but new ones were they same price or more expensive on the web without the advantage of Best Buy Rewards.

Bought a back up battery that was the same as the one with the camera before my 2 week vacation. I did a lot of recording on the high quality setting and quite honestly only got close to running out of battery once. Never really needed to switch batteries because they last so long. Unless you are doing a lot of recording you probably don't need a backup.

Works as advertised. These batteries do not have a long life as is and they will lose charge just sitting there. But Sony batteries are of high quality.

Great product! With me filming almost non stop it lasts about 2hours or so.

Perfect for my camera. It is the exact same one that came with the camera when I bought it. It is a natural choice for a second battery. I will have a back up battery and never miss a minute of recording. Yeah !!!!!!!!!!!! I am glade I have it.

I have an RX100 VII point-and-shoot and picked this up as an additional battery. It's helped as the battery only lasts for ~300 shots, less when taking videos. I usually go through one battery when taking pictures/videos while on vacation, it's nice having a backup just in case I want to shoot more. Sony's battery is more expensive than the competition and about 60mAh less in capacity, but I'd rather have an authentic Sony battery than some cheap 3rd party battery with a larger capacity that will someone last for even less time. I tried a 1400mAh battery from a different store, but it would only last for ~200 shots. I returned it and picked this up. It works with my camera and Sony's charger without issues.

Purchase the second battery for our camera and I’m so happy that we did it works great and we’re able to charge it while we are using our main battery so it is a great back up for when the main battery goes dead.

Easy to swap out batteries when needed. One battery easily films a full 1.5 hour soccer game and some.

Will be purchasing backups as well!! Very good product.

I always buy at least one extra battery as I don't want to miss anything. I was taking pictures at a wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding and the reception. Of the three batteries, I only needed two. I took over 500 pictures betweeen the rehearsal and the reception. Much better than expected.
