Worth it!

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You can save money with third-party batteries, but why take the chance....especially when you consider how much you spend on a Sony mirrorless camera body. With genuine Sony batteries, I never worry if my battery will not perform well or that it will possibly damage my camera. Plus I don't have to worry about error messages popping up which I understand can occur when using third-party batteries. The peace of mind for me makes it worth the cost. I bought this as a second battery for my Sony battery grip for all-day shooting at airshows. I prefer buying from Best Buy, knowing it's a genuine Sony product and not a counterfeit.

SONY battery is a solid choice

I purchased this battery as a backup on a vacation. I did not need to use it very often. The included, identical battery that came with the camera lasted almost all day, every day. For days when I shot video and took pictures from morning to late night, I needed to switch over to the backup. I would suggest purchasing a battery charger that can charge at least 2 batteries at once, that way you can have both batteries charging overnight while you sleep. :)

Long lasting battery

I could of gone generic but you never know with firmware updates, better to be safe than sorry !

Spendy but reliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It sure is pricey, but it's the most reliable battery for my Sony A7S III camera. When I'm on a shoot, I always take a few of these NP-FZ100 batteries with me because I know if my V-mount batteries or battery bank aren't working, then I can always depends on these batteries. The only aftermarket batteries that comes close to these in term of capacity is the Watson batteries, but I constantly getting the battery error message after the latest firmware update.

Prefer sony over third party alternatives

They preform much better and last longer. Definitely worth the purchase price.

Amazing battery life!

It is small compact and charges fast with the wall charger! This battery lasts longer than canon batteries for their cameras. Any Sony camera with battery is a must have.
