    How do you beat the OEM battery? Sure, it’s expensive, but works as well as it did the day I bought it (it’s a year later now). Bite the bullet and buy it and you’ll forget about the cost when you’re relying on it for years to come.

    I’ve been into photography for a very long time, and I find it very important to use the battery that is designed for that make and model of camera.. Recently, within the last couple of years, I’ve been into mirrorless Sony A series of cameras, the NP-FZ100 battery is an absolute excellent long lasting battery for my a6700.. They are not cheap, but their worth every penny.. For my shooting style of photography, I always keep a couple spares in my kit, and will add additional NP-FZ100’s a little later.. NO REGRETS HERE!!

    Excellent battery performance. The Sony NP-FZ100 lasts noticeably longer than older Sony batteries and holds its charge very well. Reliable, fast-charging, and perfect for long photo or video sessions—definitely worth it for any compatible Sony camera.

    I have always had better luck with original manufacurer's lithium-ion batteries -- in terms of holding the charge longer, charging quicker and not getting too hot. If you invested in an expensive camera, why take a chance with knock-offs. I try to buy from authorized dealers since counterfeits are out there - especially online. Only 2 complaints -- it would be nice if the battery came in a protective plastic or other case for protection of its terminals. Also the price is very high!

    Better than all the after market options. Holds so much more charge than any other one I've tried. wasabi and Smallrig don't hold a candle to Sony in this realm.

    Sony batteries have a much longer service life than copycat batteries. The NP-FZ100 battery is usable in many Sony camera models unlike other camera brands like Canon and Nikon which make you get all new batteries each time you upgrade your camera to a newer model.

    In case your wondering if you should buy the Sony branded battery or one of the off branded batteries let me help you decide. Go with the Sony! Unless they have an agreement with Sony and are Sony certified your just asking for a substandard product. Sony just last longer and are guaranteed to work and why take the chance and have that lesser quality battery die on you just when you need it the most. The only downside is the cost as I wish they were a bit cheaper.
