It's getting harder and harder to find a music player that has tactic control. Most new players are touch screen only. This is helpful to those with limited site. Sound quality is great. Music app is easy and can import in from Itunes.

I bought this mp3 player after returning the one I had just bought a week earlier because it just didn't sound very good. This Sony sounds great and was east to set up and begin using. The only thing I would like to see is a memory card slot so be sure you get a version with enough memory for your needs.

I am very impressed with this MP3 player, the standard headphones allow me to hear sounds I've never heard in songs that I've listened to many times. The battery life is very long too. It's a little awkward after turning power on to have to press again to release the "hold" button but overall very happy.

When I bought a new car at the 1st of the year it didn't have a CD player available as an option. But it had a connection for a MP3 player. I bought the Sony and it's great. It holds alot of songs and sounds great in the car. It's been 25 years since I bought a car without a CD player. Now they're obsolete.

When I began looking for an MP3 player the first thing I wanted was to NOT deal with iTunes. Sony has always had a good reputation. My only complaint is that the screen resolution isn't the greatest! Battery life is great and so is the storage capacity.

For the price I paid for this item not horrible..plenty of space for music and stuff, I haven't (and don't intend to) played videos but it seems like it wouldn't so badly with that either. my only aggravations so far have been the whole lack of expandable memory, it says it has it but it doesn't..and syncing music from my computer to the mp3 player through Windows media player wouldn't work for some reason, but opening the file for the mp3 player and copying the files directly worked ok..don't much care for the length of the cable that comes with it, it's too short.

Sounds good. A little picky with tags. Has simple drag and drop loading. It has good battery life. It has simple & logical controls. The earbuds sound pretty good. Not strong on bass. But has a well balanced sound spectrum. I use Bose earbuds with it & they sound great.

For the price and amount of GBs, this is a great buy. Files are easily transferred through a PC/Laptop without having to download any software. Just drag and drop, or copy/paste.

I upgraded to the 16GB Walkman from an earlier version (about 4 years old) with less memory. Similar features and performance but much increased capacity for media storage. Used primarily for music - sound quality is fine. The procedure for turning off and resuming play is a bit awkward; goes automatically into "hold" mode, requiring "option" button to be held down for several seconds to resume playing. Simple "on" and "off" mode would be preferable to me. Menus are fairly intuitive and easy to read.

Bought as a gift. Didn't notice did not have Bluetooth but my fault. Besides that great for price with a lot of memory.

takes a bit of time to work through the features and navigation within the player but very good quality and easy to load with music and good quality sound.

Sound is of good quality and ear phones are easy to put in toe ears. A little slow to turn on and off if you are impatient. Battery seems to last a good while.

This is a great MP3 player. Super easy to manage music and load to device. Really good sound quality! Haven't been able to use the earbuds that came with the player b/c they are larger than most I've seen and don't stay in my ears but other earbuds I have work just fine with them.

It's fairly simple to use with a PC. Unfortunately, mine doesn't always add songs properly or will claim there's an issue, but then add the song after selecting to skip that file. Sometimes, it will also list songs in the wrong order or it won't display artwork, but these are minor annoyances. Overall, it holds and lets me listen to my music, which is what I bought it for. It just has some connection issues at times and random issues with how it displays songs.

This product proved to be the solution to bring audio to my Cal Spa's sound system. This MP3 player is small enough to fit into the audio compartment, while providing quality sound. Easy to read, use and set-up. The FM radio feature is great option that's already built-in. Enjoy!

I could not afford a new iPod, so I purchased this. All I can say is: it blows away a cheap one I bought a couple months ago. The battery lasts real long and it's easy to use. Best of all, I got a lot of space for my money, which will allow me to drive around in my car and hear the genius music I've selected as well as "Real Time with Bill Maher." It's also my jogging buddy.

The Sony Walkman MP3 player is one of the best I have ever used, Lots of features for a great price. Nice screen display. Sound quality is great. Buttons are easy to use and find. Syncs easily with my PC. Video looks great also.

Now I have 4 times the space and it is so easy to use. I also find that it is more compatible to use with a computer, and it hooks up with my new cars bluetooth. So EASY!

very easy to use and setup. sounds great. would suggest getting different headphones though the ones with it are hard plastic and I have a hard time getting them to stay in my ears.

Purchased for in-laws (over 75 yrs old) and they loved it. Easy to use (despite small screen) and has great battery life. Would purchase again.
