Bought this for my 7 yr old as a replacement for the one she had that was stolen. She calls it her "Ipod" because it looks like her sisters old Ipod. I love that you don't have to have ITunes for it. You can just drag and drop the music you can transferred to it. It also has a radio which Ipods don't. The only thing I do wish it had was a better way to turn the power off and keep it off until you turn it on. If you hit any of the buttons while it is off it turns on.

I use this at work and battery only lasts 2 days (about 14 hrs). plenty of memory and easy to use.

This is a much improved MP3 player verses earlier Sony Walkman players. The sound quality is great. Very easy to use. Interfaces easily with your computer software. I love it. I may buy another.

Great player.. Very easy to use.. The shuffle feature is awesome.. The equalizer is super.. Great sounding.. You have to get one of these.. Lots of space for all of your music.. I own the 8gb as well.. This one is 16gb.. Awesome Mp3 Player..

Husband refuses to buy himself an IPod but really wanted an MP3 player. This was perfect easy to use holds up to 4000 songs for an 8gb

SONY totally beats my I-Pod & SanDisk MP3. I can switch modes & selections while on the eliptical machine. Great sound ear buds. Holds charge for my entire 12 hour flight.

This is a good, solid music player with great sound for the kind of music I like to listen to while walking. It fits easily into a jacket or pant pocket and is light weight. I haven't quite figured out how to use all the features, such as accessing the clock while playing music. I'd like a feature that shows how much time is left on a song as well as how long it has played. Overall, I am quite happy with this MP3 player.

Wanted an player that was simple to use and had plenty of storage. This has met my needs and much more.

Best bang for the buck. Menu system is a little tricky, though. I like the size.

I find the sound quality excellent. The available EQ settings are a plus. The menu system is very easy to navigate. It is extremely easy to add music and video without the need of a conversion program. Has a handy Radio tuner for the times you want to hear something not in your music selection. I like that I can create my own playlists and load them with a free playlist application that works simply.(do a search for walkmanmtp) I like seeing the album art of the songs playing. The alarm and sleep timer functions are very handy, I don't know how I got by without them before. My only wish would be for a custom fit case for protection.

Bought this after my CD player went out in my car. Holds thousands of songs and sound quality is great. Easy to operate. Nice product.

I loved my 8GB Walkman, and was sad when it finally died. I figured I might as well upgrade when replacing it, and the increased memory capacity was what attracted me. A larger video screen would have been nice, but I was used to not having one. What does annoy me - and it appears to be in both the 8gb and 16gb models - is the loss of the side buttons for volume and hold function. Now, it is automatically on hold when the device is turned on. Holding the power button does release it, but it is a minor inconvenience. Overall, still happy with it!

This is my second Walkman mp3 player. My first still works but this one is for a second location. Well, my first one has lasted for over seven years with everyday use, this one seems to be holding up well, too. Plays several formats. Sound quality is good. Sony products have a good track record. I'm just disappointed that they're discontinuing the Walkman; some of us don't want to put our music on our phones. I'm just glad I was able to get one of the few left.
