Best Walkman MP3 player to date

The second one lasted about 10 years with nearly constant daily use. This one is even better in that it has fewer controls but just as much functionality. Amazing engineering!

Almost as good (99%) as an I-Pod.

Another good thing about Sony is you do not have to rely on I-Tunes. When you sync the I-Pod you only get what's in your I-tunes library. Not so with Sony. This is a plus in my book. I have both and I strongly recommend the Sony.

AWESOME PURCHASE

The only reason he needed a second one is because he has so much music to input into an MP3 player. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone of any age.

He is all about the bass lol. The only thing he carries this in his pocket and some of the paint around the buttons are rubbing off. But he says, that's ok for it is a great player.

It has a battery that is not replaceable so looking for a new MP3 player. Thought 16gig $84 Sony would be more than enough for my music and more . Only 62% (3345) of my 5400 songs fit on this player. Some music would either not fit or could not be converted onto player even though that music originally came from a purchased CD. The Sony at least plays my music but when the unit says 16gig you expect alot a music to be recorded. I originally bought the Zune for under $100 but now there is nothing under $150 and I never had a problem adding music. I will not buy an Apple product so will return this Sony MP3 player and keep looking.

Also has a fm receiver with good reception.Small and light, easy to take with you. Good sound quality.The only drawback may be the size of the display window. Can be a little hard to read song titles
