at work it helps with the noise and I don't have to other music the sound is very good. I am very happy with my player.

Bought this as a gift, they loved it! Excellent product, and great price.

... but it also doesn't cost as much as an iPod. Bought two of these as gifts for a ten and a sixteen year old. Loaded them up with some tunes and so far so good. Easy to use, and small and lightweight.

The FM radio is a huge plus so I don't have to use my phone and stream data to listen to local stations.

I bought this as a replacement for an older model that I had lost. The newer model looks and works almost exactly the same as the previous version, but they have streamlined a few of the features. The volume and lock keys have been integrated with other existing controls. Two things that I don't like about this newer version is the picture quality and maximum volume. I don't use this for storing pictures, but the album art that you can associate with a music track is extremely pixilated, whereas on the old one it was crystal clear using the same images. Also with my old one the maximum volume could make me temporarily deaf after maxing it out for an hour at the gym. This latest one could barely drown out the noise from traffic a block away. The battery also doesn't seem to last as long as my old one.

Replaced an older version of the Walkman mp3 and am just as pleased with the new style. Have had an older Walkman mp3 for about 6 years and loved it. The new style is a little smaller and they simplified some of the functions. Syncs up perfectly with Windows media player. Definitely recommend.

Love it, convenient and easy to use. My first MP3 player, was very easy to down load music selections.

This is the 2nd Sony mp3 player I have purchased. Four or Five years ago I purchased a 16 gb black unit and still working great. This time I purchased a 8 gb black unit for my oldest son. I do recommend to buy this brand of mp3. Also I recommend to buy the rubber protector that is sold separately.

Got this to replace the the previous model that lasted 6 years.

great for kids first mp3 not as expensive as I-pod but easily downloads all I-tunes music this also makes it great for adults. Great for working out and taking places because if it gets lost or stolen its not as much of a lose. You can buy extra warranty but I didn't find it necessary works great.

Got this for my 11 year old as a Christmas Gift. He loves it. No complaints and rarely turns it off.

Bought this to replace my Creative MP3 unit which gave me many years of great service....didn't think its performance could be topped but was wrong. Ultra compact yet full of features, this Sony media player scores high marks. Simple to set up and use yet full of features......worth every penny!

Great mp3 player for the price, holds a lot of songs

Bought this for my 12 year old daughter and has worked out well. Was easy to set up and load music. Size is nice, small but not tiny. Unit seems solid and well built.

This is the best player I've purchased. It's easy to use and love the FM tuner feature.

Sony's MP3 player is excellent, and the 8GB size is the most useful for everyday use.

I am very happy with the Sony MP3 player. Trim and light weight, great for the gym.
