I bought this mic for recording voice on iphone for my CANON DSLR. It is so clear compared to built in mic on Canon T6i. Since I record the voice on iphone, I can even stand far away from the camera and still have sound around the subject.

Loved how tiny this microphone is. I can connect it to my a7rii without adding any additional weight to my camera. It can clip to a shirt if you are doing a little interview with someone.

My wife needed a mic for internet meetings using PC, and this product matched her purpose. She says it picks up her voice well, but reduce the background noise than the mic on her laptop.

I use this mic to narrate when I am recording with a GoPro mounted on my motorcycle. Works as expected.

I needed a simple microphone for using with my digital recorder. I use them both for doing paranormal investigations. The results of the recording were very good. I was pleased with the quality.

This is a very simple design, extremely sensitive, easy to use, very compact.

Sounds great. Picks up everything, especially thanks to the dual input but my only gripe is that it didn't come with small spongy wind-resistors at least, as this mic picks all of that up with ease.

For its size it picks up sound very well. I use it for Cortana placed in front of the monitor on the top of the desktop at a reasonable distance . It's better than having a bulky mike in your face partially blocking the screen. Great for dialogue for sure and general recording unless you inspire to be a recording artist which in that case you shouldn't be reading this review.

mic sounds good but the sales man said it would work with samsung phone and it didnt. but i purchased a recorder and it works with it so 4 out of 5 for me.

Good quality but did not meet my needs. I was looking for an external mic for my iPad to shoot videos. Apparently you need an additional cable for this functionality, and so the mic did not work the way I had hoped it would. However, it seemed to be a solid state piece of hardware that matches with the excellent Sony name.

Clear crisp sound quality on receiver's side - Great for the price. BUT - Sony's microphone could easily become a person's primary microphone if it came with 1.) On/Off switch and 2.) much longer cord. 40-inch cord truly limits a user worker at desktop/office.

This is a good microphone especially for the price

A nice little condenser microphone that gets the job done. I bought one of these about three months ago and it works perfectly. I plug it into the microphone outlet on my computer, clip it to my collar, and it's ready to go. Some microphones will not work from your MIC port on the computer, but this one works fine. I've even attached it to an extending cable and there were no problems. My only wish is that it could rotate on the clip so that it would be vertical rather than horizontal when I wear it. The sound quality is good for the spoken word, but I don't think it would be good for music or anything like that.

The microphone picks up nearby voices very well and cuts out extraneous sounds out. It met my needs.

Great mic for the price, fits nicely in small spaces which is what I needed it for. Sounds quality is good. Wind noise is a small issue with this mic, but I put some filters around it to solve that.

You’d think a $20 stereo mic would be junk, but not this Sony product. I needed a decent mic just for voice audio to my DSLR. Trying to be fancy with a 2-camera setup, I even split the feed between the two. No battery required in the mic and plenty of signal to each of the 3.5 mm jacks. Sound was OK for voice narration. but wouldn’t recommend for music. Didn’t try any stereo separation, but I would expect the short spacing between L and R wouldn’t sound great. Highly recommend for improving your audio over any built-in mic, if needed

I spent alot of time trying to find a microphone and this one came up that i was satisfyies with!

Would recommend this for someone with fairly simple needs. Quality is good. ..tone is acceptable.

It has very good sound quality for such a compact device. It can pick up some external noise but does not deter the quality overall. I do not regret purchasing this at such a good price.
