Simple and easy to use when you don't want to game but use your PS5 as a streamer or Blu-ray player. Using a media remote takes my mind off games and into movie mode. Batteries don't last a crazy long time and when you pair it for the first time it may take a hot second to pair but that's it.

This remote makes it way easier to navigate PS5 functions when watching movies. The controls are not the most intuitive, but they are way better than trying to use the PS5 controller. I would have given it 5 stars, but it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to put in the batteries. It should be a simple process, but I felt like I was going to break the remote and then had a tough time putting the back on and getting it to stay put. Maybe it’s just me, but I think others will run into the same problem. I actually had to watch a YouTube video, which is kind of ridiculous since I’ve installed batteries on probably 100 remotes and never had a problem until this one.

One of the best extras I purchased for the PS5. I use it every day. Plus it’s so convenient to keep everything to one remote while watching my shows on different apps. Definitely one to get if you haven’t already. Plus it’s sharp looking too. Matches the rest of the system.

It works great...but I knew what i was getting...i had one previously but the battering destroyed the remote

This remote works very well. I wanted to use my playstation like a tv box and this helps me very much.

I always tend to use my consoles as media devices and this remote makes the experience flawless. I just wish I could reassign the quick action buttons on the bottom of the remote to different apps, but other then that it’s a must buy.

The remote works really smoothly and it is nice to use when just watching TV and not playing games vs using the remote. Definitely work the buy.

It is a very useful accessory for PlayStation 5 if you are watching media instead of playing games. The buttons to start Netflix, YouTube etc. are super handy. Additionally, it can also turn on your TV and control volume on it, which is a very useful feature.

We really enjoin the convenience of not having to use our controller for the remote. The remote works great. I love how I can go straight to whatever app i have on my remote.

If you plan on using your PS5 to watch 4k blurays, or stream movies, then this is a good remote. It has a nice design with a good feel. It does seem a little small, but they went with a simplistic design. Compared to the remote for the PS4, this remote is short and to the point. The PS4 remote had LOTS of buttons and was an overload. But this remote has the necessary buttons plus 4 short cut buttons. Also, the PS symbol is actually the PS button, which will come in handy. The reason for 4 stars is because I had some problems trying to close the remote after putting batteries in. It did not want to snap back in place. Though you will not have to do it often, it is not as easy as I thought it would be. Plus when trying to snap it in place, I felt like I was going to break the remote. Overall well worth the money and a great accessory.

Feels nice. Quality. Wish it lit up so you could see in the dark, also a bit too touchy. Hitting buttons when i dont mean to. Not sure i would purchase again at that price.

I've read poor reviews on this but I actually love it. It's built using the same plastics as the PS5 remote, and of course fits the new design language. Buttons are simple and intuitive, and it just works, not to mention it's well priced.

I love the remote. It works perfectly with the PS5 but batteries are not your friend with this. I've had to replace them twice already and I have not had the remote for a year. It could be a setting that I have but overall I love it.

Super easy to use and set up to the PS5 and to my TV (LG Nano 85 UNA). Able to navigate the PS5 and turn on and adjust the volume of the tv as needed. The quick steaming buttons work flawlessly. Wish you were able to customize it, however.

One of the most needed 1st world problem fixes ever! Absolutely love the media remote. We use the PS5 as TV as much as a gaming system and the media remote is a game changer— pun intended.
