The media remote was in perfect condition from Best Buy, even as an open box, so the lack of the fifth star is not on Best Buy. The media remote just doesn't seem super necessary or add to much quality to the PS5 in general. It does everything it needs to do, but the features are only helpful if this is the main media device in a house. If you only game on a PS5 then I cannot seem to see much of a use unless you just want to navigate to the store or to another place in the menu while to lazy to grab a controller. All in all, the remote functions well and it works great, but it will not get a full 5 stars due to its lack of usefullness.

Use this daily with my PS5. I am able to charge my controllers while watching TV. Simple to use.

Great if you watch lots of TV and Movies and don’t want your controller battery to go dead all the time.

Works Great! Using the regular PlayStation Controllers for media is a nightmare, every time you set the thing down it hits the triggers and starts fast forwarding or reversing on its own. This eliminates that problem and that alone is worth the money.

Absolutely love it. Synced to my tv and sound bar effortlessly. Turns on the system when turning on the tv. Makes everything so easy. Definitely worth it

Works really well with my PS5 Pro. It can control the TV as well such as channel and volume.

The battery cover leaves much to be desired and it feels a little..."non-premium" compared to the other PS5 accessories, but it works well, it's sized nicely, and it matches the design well.

This media remote is really nice. Small light. Works great. Pairs w your Sony tv if you have one. And can be used as a tv remote once paired.

It's handy to have the needed buttons on a small one handed remote BUT 1) it's pretty slick and easy to drop. 2) it uses Bluetooth so the battery doesn't last anywhere near as long as the Xbox media remote does, so I wish it used a rechargeable one instead. 3) opening the battery compartment is tricky. 4) if you're ok with 1-3 than this remote is for you!

Works really well if your a person who prefers a remote when playing music or watching movies

The remote was very easy to set up, but it only gets four stars from me because the back of the remote comes off very easily, no matter how hard I press it to get it to fasten every time it comes off. So I just have to handle it very carefully. But again, the set up was very easy.

Quality controller that easily makes the media use of my Ps5 a seamless in transition. If you often find yourself on YouTube/Netflix this is a must.

Pretty dam useful. When you don’t want to deal with navigating the screeen with your regular controller just use this. It has buttons for YouTube, music, Netflix, and even disney+

I’ve been using it since the PS5 came out. Never had any issues with it and is really handy especially if you want to leave your controller charging while you watch Netflix.

Great compare remote that also turns off my LG and controls the volume. Nice little short cut buttons on it too make it easy to maneuver.

I bought this remote for my son for Christmas and this little remote is amazing!!! Setup was ridiculously quick and easy! I love that I can turn on the tv and the PS5 with it and navigate both with it. I also love the quick Netflix, Disney+, Youtube, and Spotify buttons on the bottom. Makes it a lot easier to get a movie started with one touch of a button. Definitely recommend this remote!

I have a complicated setup with my PC , receiver and TV. Being able to grab a remote that turns on PS5 thus turning on TV and Receiver using hdmi-cec with a single button means the wife can easily stream anything when I’m not home. I personally still use my htpc but this remote has made things easy. I’d rather have a Hulu button than Spotify and also it’s not backlit though.
