I've always bought the remote so when I watch media on it I didn't have to use the PlayStation remote works as intended

I switched from using a Google Chromecast to my PS5 for streaming and this remote has been awesome. It works well and connects with my sound system. It has been a great option for controlling my PS5 while still feeling like I’m watching TV.

Highly recommend the remote if you do a decent amount of content viewing like Youtube, Netflix etc. If so using the remote will help preserve your controllers battery life and not having to constantly turn it back on or even accidentally pressing buttons which happens to me a lot. Batteries come included as well. Cons: Quality feels a bit cheap, the back plating on mine moves around a bit. My only other con is I wish the dedicated button for spotify, disney+, netflix, and YouTube could be remapped to something else.

The remote just gives ease and maximizes the comfort it provides me after work and when your just relaxing to trying to entertain yourself this is just my partner.

It definitely works. It’s amazing because it links with my PS5 and my Sony television. And whatever app I press on the remote, it flips it to even with my PS5 off.

This is a must have accessory for your PS5! I leave both of my controllers on the Dualsense charging station so if I plan on just using the PS5 for media (which I recommend) I don't have to grab a controller. It's so nice, you can control tv volume and all I have to do is press the ps button and the ps5 starts straight to media and tv as well as sound system turns on.

It’s a good product. It works with Sony tv though it won’t replace standard remote. It is a little slippery and no back light.. but decent product.

How can you have a Sony PlayStation without a remote? This remote is a very good accessory for your gaming console.

While it maye not be as good as the ps4 version, If you use your ps5 for streaming this remote is definitely a must have!

Saves a lot of time charging remotes. I hated turning off and on the remote every time I had to change an episode or skip an add. This remote even turns on and off the tv along with the console. I love it and would recommend to all PlayStation users.

Love having the convenience of grabbing this remote to control the media apps on my PS5. Yes the controller can do everything this remote does, but the convenience of controlling it with the one hand was worth it for me.

Remote works awesome, very convenient. Love the design, just wish the plastic was a little better feeling in quality. Other than that love the look and use of the remote.

Happy I got it! Use it all the time. Should be very helpful for those who use the streaming services on PS5 and dont want to keep the DualSense around all the time to navigate through the menus including the PS Store.

The back is a bit tuff to get off but its great other than that

Need it something to navigate my ps5 menu while my controllers charged. This was perfect.

It’s coo. I bought it kinda late but i’m glad i did because it makes life a lot easier. It’s only downfall is the inability to use my voice on youtube to search what i need. Overall great remote
