This is a great PS5 media remote. Uses Bluetooth so no IR dongle or don't need to be in line of sight of the console. Some may not see a need when you can use your controller, but for streaming services, media and Blu-Ray/UHD discs makes it easier. Even has a few dedicated buttons for some streaming services.

This is my second one and to buy this one, because it isnt child proof. Other then that love that its able to run my samsung tv and the sound bar. Does what its suppose to do, this only works if your using your ps5 to steam and watch movies on it.

Great accessory for your PS5 especially if you consume a lot of media content. Overall a great product with a nice design. My only complaint is the battery can run out quick and that the mic button does not fully work unless a dual sense controller is turned on too. Maybe a future firmware update coming for the mic function on the actual remote.

Easy to use remote for my PS5 to watch media and everything for sure

That's great to have an old fashioned remote control to operate the PlayStation 5 instead of using the game controller to do it.

Its cool cuz its voice activated and it worked just fine and it synchronized easy and it wasn't expensive

Everything we need! I got this for my boyfriend as a gift and he loves it. It's so nice to have a remote for the PS5. Now the PS5 controller battery isn't constantly dying and it works great with powering on the TV an system. We love it.

Great remote. I now started using my PS5 as a streaming media device becuase of this remote. I programmed the remote to use with my Samsung Tv and Polk speakers. I can control volume, turn on/off my PS5, TV amd speakers with juat this remote. Awesome!

This is a good remote and it is very easy to set up and can even be used as a TV remote. My only concerns are that it uses batteries instead of being rechargeable and the directional buttons are a little thin. They work fine, but they’re very thin making the remote use a little funky. This is a minor concern though.

Simple, easy to use, straight forward, and clean. It matches the PS5 and is a seamless transition from the controller. It’s aesthetically pleasing, but it’s really an unnecessary addition. Just a “nice to have”.

Once I actually get a PS5 I will add an update review for this remote. The remote itself is great. It is a good size and the buttons are a good size and well spaced. I like the addition of Netflix, Disney +, YouTube and Spotify. It will be nice to use this remote on the PS5 instead of a controller.

I watch blu ray dvds movies on my ps5. Thank God I no longer need to use the dualshock for media controls. This remote makes it sooo easy. Build quality is not so good, in my opinion.

Who wants to operate a PS5 with a game controller only? Enter this remote, with is a must have for media play. The remote works as expected.

Simple buttons, nice design. So glad Sony finally made their own remote. The PS3 and PS4 remotes were 3rd party. Also like the fact that this remote is much simpler than the PS3 and PS4 remotes I had. It should be rechargeable though, like an Apple TV remote.

Small and easy to use, I like that this is an actual Sony product that actually pairs with the PS5 and isn't janky.

Why use your controller when you can have a remote while watching shows and movies? Comes in handy and easy to use.

Awesome! Especially for kids - I don't have to worry about them rolling over the controller or whatnot - and the remote is just snappy and intuitive. Oh and it is super simple to connect to your PS5!!!

Surprisingly satisfying peripheral. The IR functions that allow it to learn how to communicate with your television are simple to set up and while they only cover the basic functions of TV volume and power, that's enough to function as the primary remote if your console is your primary entertainment device like mine is.
