This little remote has quickly become my favorite to use. It's simple to get working. It's laid out nicely. Everything feels good. And sometimes it's just easier to pick this up than to turn on a controller to navigate menus.

Much easier to use than the dual sense controller when watching movies on the PS5. Additionally, if the PS5 is your main source for streaming content it is a must have

Got this for my bf to go with his ps5 so he wouldn’t have to keep changing hdmi cords just to watch tv and he loves it it’s very beneficial

Not necessary. Just one more thing to lose, and the controller works just fine without it. Waste of money for sure.

It’s much smaller than I thought, it comes with batteries and a placeholder button for microphone. Probably they will add option to voice command on it like HOKU TV has. Overall it’s a good accessory for the PS5 so I don’t get my controllers dirty with popcorn when I’m watching a movie etc.

This is the best PlayStation remote so far. I’ve owned all of the others but they were all missing something. This one can connect to your TV to control the volume. I can press 1 button and get to my favorite apps. Also, I can connect to the console without any extra pieces.

Excellent remote!!! Perfect for when you are not gaming and just want to stream videos. The Netflix and YouTube are right there and the PS5 switches to it almost instantly. It synced very fast too. Must have for any PS5 owner

I purchase this for my Son to use on his PS5 and all his friends inquire where did I buy this remote at so that their Parents can buy them one too.

This controller is a nice quality of life accessory for any PS5 owners. My controller came with bad batteries so I had to replace them, please change your batteries if your remote becomes unresponsive.

Haven’t had a chance to use the remote yet since I am still waiting to get a PS5, but it looks to be good quality. Will be using this mostly to watch Blu-Rays and DVDs. Reminds me of the simplicity of the Roku remote design. Have never been disappointed with Sony products.

I had some money left so I figured what could i buy for my ps5. This remote is actually super useful. Only if you are using your playstation as a media console too. No need to use the controller or take it around.

Excellent media remote for the PS5. Was very easy to connect and great to use when you don’t want to use the traditional controller for DVDs and other media.

Finally an easier way to watch my streaming content via my PS5. Now I do not have to switch between my TV, another streaming device , and my PS5. I can watch all of my favorites via PS5 and run through my services easier via this remote.

Works great, the included batteries died quickly. The back is a bit difficult to remove until you figure it out.

So I bought this remote planning that the PS5 would be Sony's glorious return to being the frontman in video performance. And while they must have learned from the PS4 Pro that having a 4K UHD drive is a must, one of their consoles (like Xbox) doesn't have a drive. On top of that, at the time of writing the PS5 doesn't support Dolby Vision and is an okay player at that. I have the 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro, so the inclusion of the Disney Plus, Netflix and other streaming buttons while welcome aren't necessary for me, though others may enjoy them. So as a media player the PS5 is great, as a 4K UHD blu-ray player it's okay, and as a game system it's next-gen. I just wish Sony had let their entertainment division have it in the oven a little bit longer making the remote an even more worthwhile investment. But as it stands it's okay, but if you're a movieophile you may want to just skip this remote for now and buy a separate player for your UHD discs.

I always like convenience and this little thing is very helpful for that. Instead of burning through your controller power to watch media on your PS5 this remote takes care of it all from turning on/off, navigation and shortcuts. Easy to sync up and get the hang of.

Bought this for my PS5 because I use it as a media device as well. Love the ease of use and the short cut buttons are a nice touch. It is exactly what you would think it is. A simple remote for your PS5 to access your digital media.
