The remote does everything I expected to do and more. And what I mean by more is it works far better than I expected. It is flawless and works on my TV as well to control the volume. I wish I bought it sooner.

I wanted to control my PS5 without having to turn the controller on. This works perfectly for that. It works really well. It's a good size it feels good to hold it. Doesn't take up a lot of space. I'm glad I bought it because it's convenient to use and I watch TV through my PS5 so it's great controlling the volume and the channels without draining the battery on my PS5 controller.

This comes in really handy when watching movies or TV, I don't really like using the DualSense for that. You can save your controller's battery for games this way. The remote will also connect to your TV once paired to the PS5. That helps so you don't need to carry the TV remote as well. It also works with my soundbar, so it may very well work with various audio setups.

Excellent media remote and it can control my tv as well which is great. A little on the smaller side if you have larger than average hands, but it functions properly well, even if a little uncomfortable with some of the button placements. The PS button is a little too low for my liking, but it isn't deal breaking. It's great quality and durable. I've dropped it a few times already and it's still working and no visible scratches to be seen.

Our Roku needed to be replaced. I’m glad we bought this. It makes our PS5 the streaming device, and it’s very good at that. Very important to mention that we set controls to turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity because otherwise the battery runs out quickly.

I purchased the Sony PlayStation 5 Media Remote to replace my Fire Stick, and overall, it has proven to be a convenient option. The remote is lightweight and easy to use. After following the included setup instructions, I was able to successfully control both my TV and Sonos soundbar, which was a major benefit. However, there are several drawbacks. The navigation can be challenging, as all the buttons are flush with the body of the device. I often find myself double-checking the button I intend to press before doing so. Additionally, the remote frequently loses connection, as if it goes into sleep mode. To wake it, I must press the PS button. Unfortunately, when it reconnects, it no longer controls the volume. This requires me to turn off the TV and turn it back on to regain volume control. Lastly, the placement of the volume buttons takes some time to get used to, as it is not the most intuitive design.Navigation is difficult all of the buttons are flush with the body of the device. i constantly have to double check which button I am using before I press it. The device also loses connection quite frequently. Its as if the remote goes to sleep. To wake it one must press the PS button I have found that when it wakes up it no longer controls the volume this makes me have to turn off the TV and turn it back on to regain this functionality. The placement of the volume buttons is also somethig to get used to.

I had to get the media remote to use with the Playstation 5. My son uses the controller, but to use the disc player and the apps, I need the remote. It is smaller than I expected which fits my hand better. It is also handy with the dedicated Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and Spotify buttons.

I've read poor reviews on this but I actually love it. It's built using the same plastics as the PS5 remote, and of course fits the new design language. Buttons are simple and intuitive, and it just works, not to mention it's well priced.

Bought this so I wouldn't have to get up to grab my ps5 controller if I wanted to watch stuff on streaming.

This remote rocks. It controls the PS5 perfectly so I don't have to take my game controller out all the time. This makes it so much easier to use the multimedia functions of the PS5. The controls are so easy to figure out. The only complaint I have is the Playstation button is on the bottom and it should be on the top where it is easier to find it. The pre assigned buttons are so easy to use, The blue ray player controls are so much easier to use than trying to figure out on the game controller. This is a must for anyone that has a PS5.

It's a great add-on when the PS5 is in the living room, but it's truly not necessary when using it primarily for gaming. In my case the it was the former and it often got more use as a media player than a dedicated gaming machine, so this made sense. If you play more often than what you watch Netflix in your console I would skip this, however if other people in your place also use the PS5 as a media player I would recommend this just because it leads to a lower possibility of grabbing the dualsense and not having any battery.

This remote makes streaming much easier, but lets be honest. I don't know of many people who use their console for streaming. I wanted to use the Sony app on my PS5 for the Imax movie program so I ordered this, which granted it is easier when watching media that using your remote. The only thing I can see is that for the price, the remote feels kind of lite weight and somewhat cheap in the hands. I really love the ease of use, but unless you watch a ton of media on your PS5, for the price, I really don't see the need.

I bought this product for my parents to use so they can stream shows on Netflix on PS5 because my parents don't know how to use my PS5 controller so this product is great for those who don't know how to use a PS5 controller. A+++

Very useful, though every button you press will turn on the tv/PS5 when off. But the battery life is decent.

Easy to use and very intuitive. Matches ps5 design and color scheme. Only issue would be the need for 2 batteries as opposed to charging.

My ps5 controller dies quickly when off the charger so instead of buying another I got this remote for streaming and movies. It makes the experience much better because it can also control tv volume and turn it on and off as well.

Very pleased with this remote. I enjoy watching movies on my PlayStation 5 but using the controller as a remote would drain the battery. This remote is just what you need to watch movies and be able to navigate your PlayStation with out draining the power of your controller. It has all features of a my standard remote and even has quick buttons for streaming services. Super convenient well worth buying.
