After a bit of research, Oculus Rift etc I decided to go with PSVR coupled with the PS4 Pro. All the reviews had said that for the price it just doesn't get any better. Other VR sets were MUCH higher in price and you need a pretty beefy computer to use it. The PS version is so real at times I had to take it off, I'm sure you can pay more for what I would think would be minimal improvements. However if you aren't impressed by the PSVR version you must be one tough customer. If you are a dedicated computer gamer then go for the thousand dollar Oculus, otherwise save $600 and go PS4.

Completely worth the purchase. Most VR games go on sale frequently. Hopefully if next one is released the screen door affect is removed from dark areas. Seems to be developers choice though.

Not too shabby. Resolution is lowish, but I knew that. It is kind of cool but some of the environment bleeds in through the visor and the wires detract from the experience. Cool experiment nevertheless. Some games do work better than others for this setup.

Was on the fence at first when Sony brought the VR experience to the Playstation 4. Waited until they came out with this updated headset and I haven’t regreted this purchase ever since!! It takes some getting used to playing PS4 VR games but once you get used to it, it’s a great experience!!. Some may like the Virtual Reality experience, some may not. It all depends if you are willing to take your video gaming to the next level. In my opinion Sony can only make this better hopefully, and maybe by the time the next gen system comes it’s VR hardware and games come, sky’s the limit now!!

I normally buy tech like this when it first comes out, but with the VR I passed as I had the Samsung VR which gave me motion sickness on most games, but after using this I don't get sick on any of the games I played. Also the original was kinda a pain as you had to disconnect from TV if you have pro and want the 4k. This was quietly fixed with this version as it has a pass through. As far as the bundle goes it's a good deal as it includes the camera and the doom game.

    VR World...

PlayStation VR is an affordable intro VR gaming system. Many of the observations aren't as crisp as the competition found on the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, but, for a system that uses PS4, I ain't going to complain much. If you own a PS4, in my opinion, you got to own a VR. Tracking is mostly okay. The response is quick. It is well balanced and you tend to forget you are wearing the headset when you are in the game. Like any system, there are great games and bad games. Fortunately, I'm sure it'll get better in the future for PS4 VR. But, in the meantime enjoy the VR, you won't regret getting one.

I was skeptical about VR for a long time, then I tried out some VR games at a local mall and I was hooked. I went out and bought this add on to my PS4 and bought a couple of used VR games. Without fail the immersion into VR added a whole new element to my gaming. The quality of this unit is amazing for the price and the availability of used games makes it that much better. The Doom VR game was a lot of fun and was definitely a good choice for a VR beginner.

Got a great price for teh bundle and, while, I'm not a Doom fan, this whole package was a great starter kit. The only things you might want beyond the box contents are the PS Move controllers and a charging stand for extra controllers - and holds the VR headset. Other than that, plug it all in, get it zeroed in and hang on. This is one of the best gmaing purchases I've ever made. Now if there were a LOT more VR games....Like Fallout 4, for instance....yowsa!

This VR headset when properly worn and adjusted is amazing. You will lose yourself in games that require movement like Doom. It can make you believe you are falling, you can feel the car crashes in racing games, it is just mind blowing. This goes far beyond the VR goggles you snap your smartphone into. If it would be wireless, it would be perfect, but you are tethered to the processor.

Super fun to use! The only issues I had was finding games that lasted long enough to ply for hours. That’s however not related to the quality of VR. It’s very immersive my only issue was using it in a semi-small space, it was hard to calibrate. Make sure you have a wide open space to avoid breaking anything. One side-effect might be dizziness after prolonged use.

Visually, I thought it would be better. Games are limited to a select few AAA titles but plenty of indie titles. Doom is a pretty cool game in vr. Be prepared for a little motion sickness with some games. I got it because it was on sale for $200. You have to be close to the camera 5ft or else you get an out of range message. Being attached to the cords is a bit of a pain and makes it look like a rats nest when not in use.
