Happy I bought it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for myself for Christmas along with the PS4 Pro. It's fun. There isn't much out there in the way of games, but it's new so that's to be expected. That's also why I suggest you buy the VR bundle because it comes with a couple of discs that have software demos. Some of them are quite fun or at least interesting. It feels like you're right in the middle of whatever game you're playing. Another reason to get the bundle is that you'll know that you have all the gear (camera, motion controllers, etc) that you need to start playing right away. I wear glasses and I have no problem with the headset because of that. About the motion sickness, yes, depending on the game you can get a little sick. It's also fun to play regular games with the headset. It's like playing your game on a movie theater screen.

Unbelievable. Amazing. A Must Have.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been gaming for over 30 years and have never experienced anything quite like this before. I played over 4 hours last night. I couldn't take it off. I was astonished. The experience is Amazing!!!! Right off the bat I played the Shark Encounter gam in the VR World game (more like a demo). It felt so real I literally had to pause it at times to convince myself it was just a game. I have also purchased Until Dawn but am to scared to play at the moment. I am a 36 year old man lol. Thats how real this experience feels. If you are a gamer, you must buy this, even if you don't own a PS4. The $800 for both the PS4 and PS4 is worth every penny!

Great for VR on a budget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long story short, the PSVR is the sweet spot for playing VR without having access to a beefy PC or the money to drop on a Rift or Vive. It's comfortable to wear and tracks decently well, all things considered. It's not perfect, but it's the best you're gonna get for the price, and man, VR is INCREDIBLE.

Good for value and price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for all of the cables but I'm sure that will be handed in future reference. Also it has a pretty good selection of games and they continue to get better. If you haven't done it already I would recommend that you get the Farpoint game with the rifle.

not bad at all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.not bad for the money and vr tech nowadays. some cons to remind: 1. rubber smell is pretty strong for the first few days 2. when screen is displaying a dark sense, lots of noise in the black color, OLED screen is not supposed to be like this. 3. motion sickness, I know it's not sony's fault, but it does exists 4. not a lot of games yet, most of them are just demo I would say. 5. image quality is not great especially at the corners but despite of these cons, I'm still very happy about his purchase, the vr experience will blow your mind and enables you to live in your fantasy.

Fun but not there just yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is great VR device. Once hooked up it doesn't take too much setup via the console and is great fun. I know there is more advanced tech out there and I expect in a few years that better versions might get produced. Good but not perfect.

The future of gaming is here!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried PSVR a few times while SONY Demo'ed it in best buy stores. I liked it then, but LOVED It when I got one home. The difference: being able to calibrate it to me. WOW what an improvement. There's a lot of VR items on the market today, but SONY made the most pleasant and affordable gaming solution to date. The resolution might not be quite the same as Occulus or Vive, but with nearly no screen door effect and a lot more dollars in my wallet, this is an awesome value for the future of gaming.

Amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had never tried VR before this purchase, I was blown away! VR Worlds is pretty cool....especially London Heist! There is a bit of a learning curve though, like putting on the headset for starters. The lens also fogs up when you first use it. I have read that you need to turn on the headset for a bit before playing. This allows it to warm up and this prevents the fogging due to the heat from your face and the cold headset. Games are also a bit thin right now, however, overall I love it.

The future of gaming!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I happened to be lucky enough to walk into my local Best Buy on launch day and buy one off the shelf. When I got home it took about half an hour to set up and get going, and another 15 minutes to set it up again in a way that would not create a tangled mess of cords in the living room! The headset was comfortable and easy to use. Putting it on for the first time is an amazing experience. It feels as though you are put inside of the game. You can look all around and behind you. Anyone that tries the headset is immediately looking all around just to experience it. The fact that from there you get to interact with the virtual world is so incredible! Descriptions don't do it justice. It is awesome! The hardest part was creating an area to play that was the proper distance from the camera to acurately track the headset's lights. Not too difficult but for someone in a smaller space it could be tough. I would recommend being about 5-6 feet away with enough room to fully extend arms left and right. The bundle came with move controllers which I found out would need to be charged from a USB connection that supports data so I couldn't use my cellphone plug. The USB input on my tv worked fine though which was good because the camera connection requires one of the ps4's USB ports. The bundle also came with the demo disc and VR worlds. Both offer multiple scenarios to try VR games in different settings. Easy to find something to like! I was surprised that games I wouldn't usually like to play were way more fun in VR! I would recommend starting with those two discs before going overboard and buying every VR game available. If purchasing as a gift, maybe include a PlayStation gift card for addition game downloads. I think this is a great peice of tech that anyone willing to try out could find joy in, even if they don't usually enjoy gaming. It is really quite amazing.

Excellent entry level VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my PSVR and it's been a great entry point into VR. Setup was incredibly easy and the extra cables/box have a low footprint with the rest of gadgets I have hooked up to the TV. There are some tracking issues in a higher light room but easily recalibrated. Additionally, it's best to have a larger room to use the device; best for a large living room or basement if possible. Really hope Sony continues to support and push games out for the device.

A Great Step Towards The Future of Gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Playstation VR Launch Bundle on release day and even though it is a bit pricey I have to say that this will take you to another world. I would call myself a pretty average gamer. I play in my spare time and I don’t play online or spend massive amounts of hours on games but I’ve been playing video games since I was kid and I love them. Video games are a part of me and I love to play them when I get the chance. I grew up with the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 and the original Playstation. I was even lucky enough to try the Nintendo Virtual Boy when it was popular. I’ve experienced all the different variations and new game systems that have come out to date. It seems that with time and technology advancing the games keeps getting bigger and better. I feel now that we have now crossed a new boundary that when I was kid was only fantasy. I think from here on video games will only get more advanced and more immersive. The Playstation VR is I would say the first leap towards this world. The VR is massive loads of fun and it really does immerse you into another environment. I’ve heard some people complain about little things such as graphic quality, sensor issues etc. But you have to understand that this technology is still young. Kinks will get worked out and better and more advanced developments will follow. But for now just enjoy the ride. This system is truly a game breaker to me. From my experience so far I like so many things about it. I feel the sensors work great, the graphics are fine and the overall immersive feeling is what makes the whole thing worthwhile. If you have not tried to VR yet I suggest giving it a shot. It really is something that you have to experience to feel.

Best ease of use and 3D experience for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are now 3 leading 3D gaming systems on the market right now but I went with the PlayStation VR because 1. I felt it was going to have the most support/longevity. 2. The price was a bit friendlier. 3. The ease of use, quality and fit of the unit and just the overall streamlined experience Sony made is fantastic. Don't listen to tech specs about resolution not being as good because it's not a legit comparison. You won't be disappointed.

AMAZING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This far exceeded my expectations when buying. It is the most amazing technology to date. It's so realistic it's scary lol. This is by far Sonys best product to date. You can even play other games on this even if it isn't VR. It won't be VR but the view is amazing and looks like You're playing at a movie theartre up close. Just flat out incredible. Highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. The kids love it as well.

Incredible Device in Short Doses
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love VR technology and this is the most affordable option on the market. Sony appears to be offering some good support for it as well with a good variety of upcoming titles. Unfortunately, PSVR does give me some minor simulation (motion) sickness. In short doses of 45 minutes to an hour, this is a great experience.

Great Start to VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you get sick in cars do what sony asks and take breaks after 15 minutes. I got sick the second time i played it. After that I took breaks and I got use to doing it now it's way better. MUST get use to it first! Over all it's really nice. make sure you have enough room. I wish they had a better selection of games thats why I did only 4 stars. I also have kids and they love it but I wont let them play more then 20 minutes.

Amazing experience.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PS VR provide a great experience of immersion in virtual reality. I really believe that this will be the future of all games. Unfortunately the games are still very small and there are still no first person games using the move control and dualshock 4 at the same time as in the "killzone 3". But I think this is a matter of time...

Unbelievable Fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playstation VR is amazing. I wasn't sold on it until a demo inside of a Best Buy store this summer. It actually made me buy a ps4 pro and a VR headset. VR really needs to be experienced to understand. For console gamers who don't want to build a PC capable to play VR and then invest in a more expensive headset, PSVR is a great option.

Accessible VR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The PSVR is pretty awesome. Easy to setup and run. Had a bunch of non-gamers try out the VR Worlds disc and they really get into it. I've been playing Until Dawn: Rush of Blood and its so cool. Very immersive. Just started Robinson the Journey and just wow. Tip: Lower the brightness on the headset to improve dark scenes.
